    I remember half of the words I learnt like this. Pictures stick better with me. When I started associating difficult words with pictures, I started remembering the meaning of more words. Story writing is another technique that works great for me.

    Hey Philip, you should create a comprehensive word list from all popular sources like Barron's 800, Kaplan, magoosh etc and explain them. Your videos are very helpful for GRE verbal. Great work. Keep doing the good work.

    Great content Philip, truly helpful! Thanks a ton! Also, I think the chemical definition of precipitation they have given refers to the precipitate that is formed when a reaction takes place… for example: white water precipitate formed as a consequence of some reaction… we used to use such terms in the chemistry lab, i just got reminded of it… 😂.. anyway, you are doing a greattt job Philip, i have got immense help from your videos! Thank you again!

    Hi, I have a question. Do 'recondite' and 'esoteric' both have the same meaning?

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад

      Recondite means more difficult, hard to understand, whereas esoteric is more like rare, known only by a few

    Question: How important would you say is resting? I'm using Magoosh and I am on week 2 of my study plan. Just took a full practice test and didn't do so well. I really want to review every question I went over, but my friend advised me to take my rest days. How important are they?
    What's a good time range per day for someone to study. I am currently studying 6 days a week for 2-3 hrs a day.

      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад +2

      I definitely advise a rest day before the test. You are studying for a perfect amount of time...

    Please help me with this qs:
    A tested score is out of 100 and the scores are divided into five quintile groups. Students are not told their scores, but only their quintile group.
    Quantity A: the scores of two students in the bottom quintile group, chosen at random and added together.
    Quantity B: the score of a student in the top quintile group chosen at random.

    • @rajatsharma2441

      i guess B will be greater

    • @themoodz9490
      @themoodz9490 4 года назад

      @@rajatsharma2441 correct answer is D

    • @TheTestedTutor
      @TheTestedTutor  4 года назад

      @@themoodz9490 yes D because the scores could all be between 10 and 15 or 20-25, i.e. not spread out at all.
