Heck ya. Looked for a easy way to make this in my rig cuz I don't eat out I cook almost everything. This is absolutely amazing thank you so much, now I just gotta pick up some 🐷 fat mmm...God bless
Excited to try this out! But just opened up my packages of pork skin/fat and it’s almost all fat or skin with no meat 😩😢 Still gonna fry it all up. At least I’ll have some lard to use later. Love your channel! Thanks so much! 💜
I was taught by the mother of a friend of mine who is Hispanic, to pour water on equal to the level of the pork. (This was after we had cleaned them with the vinegar/water mixture) then, just turn the heat level to high & bring them to a boil. Cook this way for just a few minutes, then turn the heat to medium low, and just let them cook in their own fat. The water will evaporate. Then we would salt them lightly when draining on paper towel. I love these things!

How did they turn out?

I love Chicharones
Omg i like that chicharrones whit a salsa de arbol .and a corona very cold 🥶
I love them in tacos with cactus salad and guacamole!
Looks there. That's how to do that. Then toss em into a corn tort and pour a little mild salsa on em, yum. Good with eggs & cheese too.
I am not Spanish, but my friend from Panama introduced me to it thirty years ago,and i am hooked.thanks for sharing this recipe with me. I love it.
Making it now!!!!
that taco look so good lol
I like these but also like them in Ranchero sauce tacos. But not sure I could make this at home.
Any recipes?
KETO diet delight. Have this with shredded cabbage that’s been sautéed with red wine vinegar salt and pepper.

Gracias mama!
My mom would always make chicharrones in salsa verde. She called it comida de pobres lol
It may be de pobre but soooo delicious:)
@@SaltyCocina oh for sure, it brings back a ton of memories 💜
Gonna have to try this too cuz I love salsa Verde ❣❣
But the best.....
I've seen ppl boil them first, dry them out then deep fry them
Lady's white vinegar? That I may be too.
Who loves it? hand purse (clutches)
Made some from pork belly
can you use that same pool of grease to make more chicharrones?
Also just look or ask for pork belly, most stores no matter what ethnicity it caters to will carry it.
mannnn i remember when my dad would use to fry pig fat, but there was only a little skin on it so i wanna try this SO BADD
Were did you add vinegar?
When soaking them in the water
Your pork skins don't have pork hair on them. That's definitely something I don't miss!
Very true!
Do you have a recipe for the salsa?!
Can I make this with left over pork fat trimmings I had from another dish? The pork fat already chopped up
Yes you can, I usually do that too to minimize waste.
Are you from tx?
I am actually located in Arizona
Oh Man! Lol anyways the food looks delicious
Followed exactly, and ended up with a tasty dark brown rubbery mess - not a single crunch to be found. Not sure where I went wrong,
I am not sure where you went wrong, the only thing I can think of is that maybe you used beef fat instead of the pork?
Is it true that she passed away? 😥😔😟🙁😞
My Son Passed away, I am okay.
I love LOVE the snack but they’re not very healthy.
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
The smell she is removing witn vinegar is called "delicious".
You were looking for bone left one the meat, while I was looking for meat left on the bone.
