    Paul, I am 67 years old snd have just picked up my first watercolor brush since 9th grade art class in 1969. I am truly inspired by your talent and am doing all I can to mimic it. I have watched all of your tutorials and am just now putting brush to paper. It seriously is not as easy as you make it look🙀 but am trying my best. I am determined to make this happen.
    My biggest problem is water to paint proportions with half pans. I know you work in the tubes and use a 60/40% water to paint. How do I judge that using the cakes of pigments?
    I am also working daily on my perspectives and composition. Again, you make it look so easy!
    I enjoy you and Margo so much, I am even considering one of your cruises. I am in Louisiana USA. Thank you for all you do to make this such a joy. Best wishes, Christina

    • @ArtbyPaulClark
      @ArtbyPaulClark  3 года назад +1

      Hi Christina - thanks for the lovely comment and it would be great to see you on the cruise. The 60/40 ratio is only a rough guide - just practice on some scrap paper mixing washes, without putting the pressure on you to paint anything in particular.
