[FULL MARK IB Theatre Solo] Molly’s Letter (Anne Bogart - Physical Viewpoints)

I got 32 out of 32 for the Solo Theatre Piece.
To quote part of my solo theatre piece report:
LEARNINGS AND IMPLICATIONS: The style of “powerful tenderness” had a strong presence in my Collaborative Project and other original theatre works. I was thrilled to hear from the audience that I had a personal style shining through, and I once realized the power of beauty and tenderness for revealing vulnerability and raising empathy. Additionally, I have always been passionate about feminism and LGBTQ+ advocacy, to challenge the audience to think about relationships, gender, sexuality, and societal expectations. I was worried about how to combine my interest with my chosen aspect of theory, but then I was still able to tell the story that I was deeply passionate about. I learned to be open to new approaches, as well as stay confident with my existing style and preferred themes. In the future, I wish to continue advocating for women and the LGBTQ+ community, exploring my style, and expanding my “comfort zone” of theatre-making.
