to me there are only a few bands in the history of music who ever had this magical thing before: the beatles, queen and the led zeppelin. But the peppers... man i can't explain, no word could ever express the feeling i have when i listen to them, there's this spirit, this whole magical thing, all this love they have to share with all of us, simply amazing... john just can't quite the band again, no one could ever quite this band anymore!
And of course we listen all music by 7.1 speakers with broad elaboration...! Because of this you get the most beautiful sound which exists there on audio area! In combination with a 50-inch widescreen LCD TV you've got it all! Excluding my husband :-)
you know john really lives in a different world, he does't see things as we all do, he doesn't consider things in a formal way, i believe that when he says that there are no plans he just means that there are no plans for the moment, they've been working really hard and not only for the SA album and tour but since john came back, so they probably need a rest before coming back, and after all what the fuck can they do with their lives if they definitely stop being the motherfucking amazing RHCP!
You know that someone is really good when they can play a riff like this at constant speed and sing at the same time.. 4 sure John Frusciante the best guitarist now a days..
some say it's very hard to understand him and to get answers, some say he's very kind and gentle (i think those ones are right ^^) and some say that when you ask him a question he might talk for hours. In my opinion he's the kind of person who interessted in sharing all he knows about anything, so if he's asked some intelligent questions he can answer gently and talk a lot but if you ask him a useless one he might be pissed and become rude.
And this is something i understand, for example when he's asked about drugs in so many interviews and then an other guy comes to ask the same questions about his addiction when john wants to leave it behind him and to talk about his music and his new album, i can understand that he might be pissed, anyone would feel the same!
Ze vielen echt dik tegen op Pinkpop. Toch leuk om ze en keer gezien te hebben. En wat is nou leuker dan Under the Bridge zingen samen met een paar duizend man :D. Smashing Pumkins had lang niet zoveel publiek als eindact.

@francisco444 actually the left hand positions and singing along is pretty easy, the hard part is the picking! especially for my sweaty hands the pick start flying away during the riff and so I have to fo with the fingers but it sound strange and more stopped
@hermano666 hillel is such an underated guitarist, one of the greatests back in the 80's, such a visionary, he influenced john so much! Fuck rollingtone magazine, hillel isn't even in their top 100 guitar players ever, such a shame...
My guess is that it's something in dutch, they try to do something that the home crowds recognize usually... that's speculation though, I don't speak Dutch.

you are insane the Gofferpark show was the most dissapointing live show i've ever seen, and i dont wanna be cocky but i've seen alot (including 5 RHCP shows) They were sloppy, not an original setlist and no connection with the crowd. This pinkpop show rocked, kiedis' voice was pretty good and the rest of the band were rocking their socks off
the only thing i dont like of RHCP is that they dont really do things with the public, like green day and AC/DC are always doing funny stuff, RHCP is only busy with their music
Ya kiedis is in key, but he's out of tune, listen at the "deep beneath the cover..." part, he is soooo flat, and John isn't much better, but you're right i think he did need his monitor turned up....hey...don't thumbs down me RHCP are redonkulus :D one of the greatest of all time, which is why i was surprised when i heard this performance
