Hey there. I haven’t really played with MIDI features much in Logic Pro iPad but it’s on the list.
I just tried Wider and thought it sounded awful. Very phased and thin.
Yeah it’s not perfect. Use in moderation.
Does anyone know if .cst files can open up in Logic for iPad? Channel strip presets downloaded from 3rd parties. I’m guessing no, haven’t figured out how.
I don’t believe so. You can save and use favourites but only within Logic Pro iPad.
Hi Pete, have you noticed a small latency using the IRigs? I’ve had to use the guitar connected without audio out, just playing acoustic so the timing could be perfect.
There’s always a little latency when listening to audio back through the DAW and interface but in my experience this has been pretty low with the iRig.
Q: Can we do the same process for AUv3 instrument ?
Hey there. Yes, instruments work a little differently but can be used in a similar way. I’ll cover in a video soon.
Can i use mac logic pro plug ins, if i were to download them online like on the mac from the ipad would it work ?
No. iOS uses AUv3 plugins. Mac uses AU and VST. Http://logicipad.com/.

Logic Pro for Mac uses AU and VST plugins. Similar principle but you’ll need desktop plugins instead of mobile.
