King of FM! 🎹 Thank goodness you included my favorite ROMplers :)

It sickened me to add a Rompler masquerading as a synth to this list Matthew.

I’m enjoying Fluss and Nerd, while holding my breath for Korg to port Odyssei to AUv3.
(Having a great ARP emulation to go along with Moog’s 15 would cover a lot of territory.)

Cool! I had King of FM which for a free app is mind blowing! Got the Nerd and the Bleass which seem to have some really nice presets.
    The BA-1 for $30…. Hmmm…..😂

Nerd Syth and Saga synth are my choice of weapon. So great.
Your list does have some bangers.
Has anyone done a proper DX7 sound bank?

Can you record automation on third party synths in logic pro?

So with logic you lose access to all your projects when you stop paying or have no internet access for an extended period of time, yes?

For me the principle issue is - do these match their desktop versions. If not, they’re fundamentally useless as you won’t be able to effectively move between the iPad version of Logic and the real version. And that makes the iPad version and the synth itself, pretty impotent.
I’m really not a fan of the whole AU3 thing, it’s completely unsupported by most serious plugin creators and the non-compatibility between AU3 and AU/VST just makes Logic Pro on the iPad seem like a minor DAW that is unnecessarily exclusive. I’m increasingly wondering what the point of Logic on the iPad is, other than ‘fun times’,

The amount of users actively moving projects from iPad to Mac (or vice-versa) is far fewer than you may think. For those who make music solely on an iPad, AUv3 Apps are indispensable.

I invite you to consider - Think of iOS AUv3s as a secret weapon, like a hardware synth. Some of the most successful and talented producers out there often suggest bouncing down your VSTs to audio and commit, ASAP. Makes songwriting and producing faster and more productive...
