Does Logic Pro for iPad work together with Logic Pro 11? If I start with Logic Pro for iPad then choose to switch over to a Mac and buy Logic 11 will anything change, like will I lose any projects. Will I be able to jump right back in with everything I was doing on my iPad. Seeing all of your videos really has me excited. I just subscribed to your channel and will be leaning on them to help me get started. Thank you.

I’m enjoying Fluss and Nerd, while holding my breath for Korg to port Odyssei to AUv3. (Having a great ARP emulation to go along with Moog’s 15 would cover a lot of territory.)

I’m not getting output through interface. It is recording and playback through iPad speakers work. But silence if I set output to interface.

It's useless in any real world application as all MIDI tracks/channels are merged into one track on import. So if you want to export from say Studio One to edit on your Logic ipad, forget it

I have a Komplete audio 2 interface and it was working fine for a bit but now all of a sudden the iPad wont record or pick up any audio coming from it but it will still recognize that its plugged in and uses it as the output. Anyone know a fix?

One of the biggest problems with using a Daw such as Logic on iOS, is that most of the most of the best plugins cannot be used with them as AUv versions have not been released and can only be used on MacOS or Windows. AUM is excellent but extremely constrained by the scant availability of good plugins. The availability of Logic for iOS for some time now has not resulted in any porting of popular plugins/synths (and nothing by Native Instruments/Kontakt) to the platform

Right now the names I can recall, FabFilter, Audiothing, Hmm, 4pockets, BLEASS, JAmp, yonac, Korg, Arturia, Gsi , . Now , the list I can definitely live without, Aiken SakiPedia, Waves, reason, that compact for iOS is pure disgrace, ummm. Ok .

For me the principle issue is - do these match their desktop versions. If not, they’re fundamentally useless as you won’t be able to effectively move between the iPad version of Logic and the real version. And that makes the iPad version and the synth itself, pretty impotent. I’m really not a fan of the whole AU3 thing, it’s completely unsupported by most serious plugin creators and the non-compatibility between AU3 and AU/VST just makes Logic Pro on the iPad seem like a minor DAW that is unnecessarily exclusive. I’m increasingly wondering what the point of Logic on the iPad is, other than ‘fun times’,

I have Logic on my Mac and have just about decide to subscribe to Logic Pro for my iPad Pro out of frustration with GarageBand, so I’m glad you are showing the way with Logic as well. Cool! I had King of FM which for a free app is mind blowing! Got the Nerd and the Bleass which seem to have some really nice presets. The BA-1 for $30…. Hmmm…..😂

Is there any way to split the session drummer instruments to individual mixer channels?

You forgot the most important one. The Modifier, which lets you do MIDI learn for all apple UI plugins, making you able to use your knobs and other controllers for your plugins, which is a good workaround until apple implements global midi learn.

I cannot for the life of me work out how to mono or polyphonic flex on iPad like on Mac. Is it possible?! Manually changing length of notes etc??

How would you connect external synths using midi? Do you set it up in the minifuse app first and then in Logic Pro? I have like 10 synths I want to connect using usb midi

I need your help with something on Logic Pro for iPad!!!! So I have an audio track that I split in half, the first half I want to sound normal, & the second half I want my voice robotic, but when I click “robotize” on my plugin, it robotizes both sections. I’ve tried duplicating the region & moving the audio I want robotized to a new region, but still when I edit the plug-in it is changing things on both tracks

The Complexity Range control in Percussion adjusts from both directions, to a “range” that not only expands or shrinks but also moves up and down. Why does it move up and down?

Does “Intensity” essentially reflect midi Velocity amount? Anything else?
