Considering that developers who have worked at Apple have told me how busy they usually are this time of year prepping for WWDC, it’s great that they managed to get this release out now.

2:15 YES i had this EXACT problem it was so annoying because i intentionally didn’t install certain sound packs i didn’t need (like the guitar amps pack because i don’t play guitar), but the red circle on the bottom left was annoying me to no end so i ended up downloading them.
i thought it just hadn’t updated, but it just STAYED THERE for SO LONG and it was the bane of my existence for a while.
…so, yeah, glad that’s fixed 😂
I love that we had legitimate bugs that stopped us making music, but the number one issue? Red dot!!!! 🔴

Didn’t get the slow disk error on the iPad but seriously slow on LP 11 on iMac. So slow I would have to bounce the tracks and delete the session players to get back up to speed. When I saw your video, I updated my iPad version and searched on a similar update for LP 11 and 11.1 should be available soon. So thanks for alerting me to the fixes.
Thanks for watching - surprised they didn’t release the update simultaneously on Mac to be honest.
So so so got F********d by the red dot of annoyance. That’s a basic UI error that should have been flagged at a very, very early stage. Overall, many of these feel like, ‘should have sorted before release, but ran out of time’ issues, not bugs per se.
There’s still a lot to do to make Logic for the iPad genuinely useful like sharing plugins with the desktop version, not forcing me to buy the same plugin twice. At the moment it’s still a very bunkered application.
Sharing plugins with the desktop version? Desktop plugins don’t work on any iPad DAW - it’s up to developers to make their plugins AUv3 compatible, not Apple.
Still need that PLAY button latency issue fixed.

Something super strange is happening to me. I don't have an active subscription and yet I can load Logic Pro 2 for iPad without problems. Does it happen to anyone else? I'm not complaining, hehe, but it's a bug, I imagine

Nope, mi last subscription expired in December 2023. No trial activated. At first I thought that they had put it for free for those who had the Logic Pro on the Mac but then I confirmed that they didn't. Very strange.

How do I access the update? Will it update in the background? I want to go ahead and install it but not sure how to make that happen.
