- The Stock Plugins YOU Should Be Using in Logic Pro for iPad
Logic Pro for iPad comes packed so many brilliant stock effect plugins that you may never need to visit the App Store ever again.
Not all of them are created equal however, so in this video I’m going to run down the five stock plugins that you definitely SHOULD be using in your Logic Pro for iPad projects!

I used to plugin/vst shop to hide the fact that I didn't really understand what I was doing. Nothing wrong with buying a product, but I think that so much good stuff comes with the app and it's just a matter of focusing and taking the time to learn how to use what you already have.
Indeed 😊 there are so many possibilities in L4IP , i have bought Jim Danekers Bacstage Pas for MainStage 3 where all the fabulous sounds are made in Logic sampler , i was pleasantly surprised when I send a list of tracks with those sounds to L4IP and they worked and sounds just as good on the iPad version and the velocity is even better ? I don’t know why . I have auto sampled my favorites from Roland Cloud and the sound incredible also , I use the iPad version as a workstation in the rehearsal room with a singe usb cable to Yamaha CP 73 , it’s far better sounding than my previous workstations 😊
I like the user interface of Chromaverb on the iPad version of Logic Pro. It looks clean and smooth. I think Chromaverb should have the same UI design for the Mac version of Logic Pro. If more plugins like vocal transformer, delay designer, EVOC20 vocoder, and Enveloper should be redesigned, It would look clean and not look blurry when I make the plugin window size bigger.
Phat FX is sweet to use on drums. Adds so much character. Cool demo! I’d love to see more like this one.
Thank you very much, that's very useful!!!
Great 👍 video, Patrick! I do love ChromaVerb a lot. Not only for its fantastic sound but also for the colorful visual representation.
Great stuff, Patrick. Thanks!
Cheers Andrea!
Nice video Patrick! Useful stuff!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Not gonna lie, it's a wonder that so many of the stock plugins from the desktop made it to the iPad version. That's a feat, no doubt. Thanks for the overview; will have to play around with those and then some. Crossing fingers for the Sampler and EXS import. As ever, appreciate it Patrick!
I love your videos, Patrick-you're a natural for this medium. :) Thank you for explaining these features, especially the compressors, etc, which have always been a bit of a sealed book for me. That was very welcome! :)
Have you done any videos about Logic's built-in synths? I for one would love to see an overview looking at them. :)
Glad you found it useful! A video on Logic’s best stock instruments is coming soon 👍
Great video bro ❤
Thank you
Thanks man, I appreciate you!
Man thanks for all the good tutorials!
Honestly don’t think this needed to be an extra channel , kinda sad that I’m just seeing it wish it was just just uploaded on the reg channel ,
But either way I’m extremely grateful to you ❤
I almost did just fold everything into the one channel, but this way everything is kept separate and folks know what topic of videos they are going to see. Thanks for watching anyway man!
Nice!
Improv the logic overall (when the song have more EQ the logic will give you a notification saying overall) and inprove the new mastering plugging and the piano 🎹 roll to pick note like FL Studio
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Hey question I’m trying to get a good country plug-in instrument pack that will have mandolin, lap steel and banjo. Do you guys know what one will work on IPAD Logic Pro?
can you show a tutorial how to use logic pro for a live performance
Really hoping other plugins get an actual UI like Chromaverb. Opening up and working with Delay Designer was painful 😥
Would love to see a quick run-down of all stock instruments, especially the big boys like Alchemy, Drum Kit, ES, Retro, and my beloved Sculpture!
