Body wash ingredients that are good for hydrating skin. What body moisturizers to avoid? (Back acne gets worse when I moisturize so I’m curious why) Lip care? Lips keep getting extremely dry. Started using polysporin lip care at night and it’s helped but others might still have this issue. Sorry for the long message. Started using retinoids because of the channel! Thanks again for all the great content.
Hi there! My bf has back acne and I’ve been helping him and this is what we do. Try an exfoliation body wash with a loofah and really get in there on some days. Or a normal body wash an a stronger body exfoliant 1-2 times per week. I’ve noticed he really doesn’t wash his back well and let’s sweat sit after the gym. You really need to make sure you shower frequently and actually scrub your body well. Scrub, gently, but just for longer than you normally do. You can even get back facials! Call any local salon who offers facials :) Basically what they will do is a cleansing, an exfoliation, extractions - don’t try at home, and moisturizer. Also the moisturizer you are using could be clogging your pores even more! It needs to be a non-comedogenic moisturizer, which basically means it won’t clog your pores. Hope this helps!
I will be 51 this year, I just started microneedling and it has been amazing. I've noticed a huge change after the first session alone. Looking forward to my next session and to see the results.

I would love to see a video on the really high end skincare lines, like La Mer, La Prairie , Guerlain , Dior. Are they really doing anything more for your skin than a drugstore line like Cerave or Neutrogena etc. love the videos.
I'm a cosmetic chemist and can tell you La Mer, Dior etc products are more hype than substance. You're better off saving your money by using CeraVe, Paula's Choice etc. Buy stuff with evidenced-based ingredients that suit your skin type, not the marketing.
PLS DO A VIDEO OR PART on light therapy! I have a high frequency wand and it’s literally helped me acne sooo much! I get hormonal acne so much and I feel enough ppl don’t know about this tool! LIFE SAVER!

Can you make videos on skincare for age catergory groups? 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, and so on... This might give the age group to understand what skin routine they should follow 😊
It differs from person to person, some 20 something year old might need 30 something year old skin care as it is very personal person to person. Like they said, you cannot put into the brackets and what that age people use it will suit your skin. Determine your concerns/problems and then treat them and this is nothing to do with your age.
I started watching your content and extremely excited about taking this skin care journey. The fact is I should have been doing this. Unfortunately I haven’t been doing right by my skin. Recently, I have been watching your videos and incorporating some of your skin care routines and recommendations into my daily skin regimen. I must say that I have noticed a tremendous change with my skin texture. Thank you for sharing your stories and products. I look forward to seeing more videos!
EASIEST WAYS TO REMEMBER: *Thinnest to Thickest...* (with some exceptions of course) *&& Cleanse. Treat. Moisturize...* *Sunscreen last* Skin care is REALLY not as complicated as some make it seem. There are actually very few products that are advised to not be used in conjuction... basic rule of thumb, if you're using one of these do not mix with the others: Retinoids, Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, AHA's/BHA's/chemical or physical exfoliants, etc. Besides that, you'll be just fine. && You can in fact still use all of the things I mentioned above in your routine !!! Just use 1 at night 1 in the morning, or alternate between the products on different days/nights👍 && Even still, lol, some people CAN && DO use these things together😏 if their skin can tolerate it without irritation. So it's all just trial && error, as everyone's skin is different && of course also depends on tolerance, skin type, skin concerns...

I'm 26 from UK and I feel very lucky to have my mother pester me to wear suncream a lot when I was growing up. Might have gone a couple of years not using it in the winter and I've badly burnt only a couple of times in my life. I always wore it in the summer if I was going to be out. Now I use it if UV index is over 2, so cloudy/rainy, sunny whatever the weather. It was seen as "uncool" to wear it when I was in school and everyone would often be "showing off" their sunburns to get attention. There were many girls in my year that never wore it once even in the heat of summer. I didn't care though as I was told early about the dangers of the sun. Some of those girls from school that are my age now look 35+ so I'm so glad I took care of my skin and I'll never stop! Thank you for the tips guys just found your channel and love it :)

I am 73 years old and never did much in the way of skin care other than washing (never used toners), sunscreen (once I got beyond 30-before that, they did not recommend them as much) and moisturizers. All drug store brands-Aveeno and Olay mostly. I have now fallen down the rabbit hole of products. I just signed up for the monthly Curology and they have me on Niacinamide 4%, Tretinoin, 0.02% (on it since Dec. and they are sending me a stronger solution next month) and Tranexamic Acid 5%. I have so many serums and moisturizers because each time I see one advertised, it seems to be better than what I already have. lol I use a Vit. C serum in the morning. I never had any trouble with red skin or flaking with the Tretinoin-probably because I was using so many serums and oils and moisterizers! I too would love a video on layering and what to do in what order. Everyone you watch on RUclips has a different opinion. I love these guys because they are MD's and they talk about the science and they are soooooo cute! I have a lot of hyperpigmentation (I guess they are just old age spots) and I have very light skin. Hey Y'all, white chick from Florida pushing towards 60yoa. Found out the growth hormones in dairy products were triggering terrible cystic acne especially along my chin. No I wasn't on any "change of life" hormones that compounded this issue... So about 15 years ago I quit consuming any dairy products that weren't labeled as non growth hormone, my issue cleared up in a couple of months. So check your diet as you may be dealing with a reaction... Just sharing my history. Peace and Love 💖
Acne: have one or two ingredients for the first months - Retinoid - best adapalene - benzol peroxide - salycilic acid - paula choice - azelaic acid - the ordinary - niacinamide- vitamin they would put in their face
Maybe three months ago I noticed that my face was getting blotchy and I was developing little pits around my cheeks. I've never had perfect skin but its never been bad either but this was making me self conscious. I eat healthy, I work out, I change my sheets ( pillows included) weekly. I could probably stand to drink more water but its not that bad. After trying a few things on my own I sought out some help discovered you all. its been a bit over a month since I started my routine based on your suggestions. MAN OH MAN... I have seen a vast improvement the blotchy tones are smoothing out. The pitting ( which I was worried about the most) is starting to smooth out. Even my random acne which usually gives me a nice hard pimple once in a while hasn't shown up. I can't wait to see what three months will look like. For those wondering... I do the lactic acid ( ordinary ) in the am ( after I clean my face which is usually my own hand made soap), niacinamide ( ordinary), aveeno calm and restore moisturizer and finally a mineral sunscreen if I'm going out. in the PM cleanse again nia again moisturizer ink retinol/ eye retinol then moisturizer... I can't thank you two enough for your information. I was already depressed this did not help. Finally feeling like me again at least in this one aspect. THANK YOU!!!!

Complete “Aha!” moment for me. Thanks again!

Very important information. This video was somewhat validating because I have done quite a bit of research on my specific skin concerns. I have mature, sun damaged skin so the absolute first thing I did was find a sunscreen that I would wear every day. I've spent about 4 weeks making sure my skin likes the CeraVe cleanser and just last week I incorporated my Retinoid. Now I'm in a holding pattern again and if my skin has no objections to the Retinoid I'll start my vitamin c serum. Rome wasn't built in a day.
These videos are so great! You guys keep saying as long as the sunscreen is 30+ but that's not helping with taking away the harsh sunscreens that make you break out. It would help to know which ones to absolutely stay away from. Helppp

Would appreciate a video on how to layer the products daytime and night time
EASIEST WAYS TO REMEMBER:
*Thinnest to Thickest...*
(with some exceptions of course)
*&& Cleanse. Treat. Moisturize...*
*Sunscreen last*
Skin care is REALLY not as complicated as some make it seem.
Just use 1 at night 1 in the morning, or alternate between the products on different days/nights👍
&& Even still, lol, some people CAN && DO use these things together😏 if their skin can tolerate it without irritation.

Sorry to ramble. Anyone have any opinions about the Curology subscription? Should I go to a dermatologist and get a Rx for Treninoin or stick with the Curology. New sub. here-LOVE you guys!

Acne: have one or two ingredients for the first months
- Retinoid - best adapalene
- benzol peroxide
- salycilic acid - paula choice
- azelaic acid - the ordinary
- niacinamide- vitamin they would put in their face

Very important information. This video was somewhat validating because I have done quite a bit of research on my specific skin concerns. I've spent about 4 weeks making sure my skin likes the CeraVe cleanser and just last week I incorporated my Retinoid. Now I'm in a holding pattern again and if my skin has no objections to the Retinoid I'll start my vitamin c serum. Rome wasn't built in a day.
