You guys are helping me prepare for my CPC Module 3 and 4 really well! I have just passed 1 and 2 today and learning with Stagecoach Bus (outside London/TFL)
Just want to say a massive thankyou for this and the mod 4 cpc video. Using these I have now passed these tests aswell as my driving test first time. I managed the same with my LGV tests last year too thanks to your videos. I recommend them to anyone I know who is thinking of taking the tests. Thanks again, you guys are fantastic!!!
thanks for all the advices it help us really and we learn lots from you. just in tell me show me I beleive that you must use the 3 points and you must look right and left before to open wich you didn`t.
Very informative videos . Passed all the theory side of things just about to start Stagecoach driving school in 2 weeks time for the actual driving side of things 🙌🏻
here is my chance to be a smart ass:)))) when u check the emergency exit, the door should be checked to be able to open over 90 degrees. i just couldn't resist to write this, great video!
I think maybe all the tests have slightly changed as of 2022, the format especially and how and when the questions are asked. Updated videos would be great from yourselfs as they are 👍
Going through my training with Stagecoach at the minute your videos have been invaluable, only issue I'm having is the dam hazard perception. Any tips and tricks on how to nail this? Cheers lads
Thank you so much, hope your training is going well. This can be a bit of a challenge, especially for the more experienced driver. The best thing to advise is when you see the hazard, have a little pause before you click the mouse the problem with the hazard perception, is it is designed for car drivers. The problem with this is for a truck or bus driver. They're going to be seeing the hazard a lot sooner therefore a little pause to be able to hit the higher value score. Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on. 👍👍 Kind Regards Paul.
Thanks alot very information about pcv cpc I am watching your all pcv video during Corona problems thanks alot agan weating more for pcv video please if u can put video for driving bus around turn right our laft our roundabout please when u have time my pcv training starting after Corona problems so I can keep watching your all other video to learn more about bus driving thanks again.

Hello I'm a trainee bus driver, so correct me if I'm wrong by pumping the brake pedal and hearing that warning buzzer mean that the system is working? after you have switched on the engine in the morning for the air pressure to circulate throughout the bus
No, this will not mean the system is working. All this does is empty the air tanks to ensure that the warning buzzer is working. Once the buzzer has been checked, you can then fill the tank is back up by allowing the engine to run. This will intern make the compressor fill the tanks. Then you can walk around the vehicle and listen for air leaks. We could then forward it forward and carry out a rolling break check. 👍👍 hope this helps. If you got any questions, please give us a call..
Hi Jeevan! Check out our course page for Bus training here > www.nationaldrivingcentre.co.uk/pcv-bus-driver-training-course/ Call or email us if you would like any further details :)
But what they don't tell you is you don't get time to check the buses properly at least not at a bus company I drove them for 20 years . Coach company's give you more time and want the checks done properly. I drive class 1 now it is just as bad .
They ask you anywhere between three and five questions. The main questions for PCV, show me tell me are- Show me how to operate the washers wipers or any form of lights. Show me how to operate the emergency exit (this is a very common one) how do you check the tyres. Can you show me where the fire extinguisher or first-aid kit is. Obviously they can ask you any questions this is just a guide.👍👍
Hi, do any LGV questions come up on the GB PCV theory test? I’m in the process of getting my bus licence through a TfL bus company please let me know so I know if I should revise LGV questions too thanks!
Highly unlikely, it's not something I've heard of before, if the vehicle is still categorised as a passenger carrying vehicle, then it still comes under a category D license, and therefore you would need the license to be able to drive it.👍👍
Thanks for the vid. How many questions will the examiner ask? I remember on my car test it was 1 show me and 1 tell me. Is it the same for this test or do they ask more then 1 of each? Thanks!

Is it true that you can drive a 30 year old bus on a car license for personal use? In other words, you don’t have to get a special license?

No, not all the questions. Before your exam normally 3 or 4 questions will be asked. 👍👍👍👍
@NationalDrivingCentre is it the same.on cpc module 4?
Similar, You will get 2 questions in each of the 5 categories. Sometimes that could be 3 if the answer needs more content. 👍@@daveharris8550
Thank you for the video. I just wanted to ask. Does the examiner ask all the questions or one of these questions?
They wouldn't ask necessarily all of these but we demonstrate all just in case!
Is English required for this job?
Yes, you'll have to have a good understanding of English to get through the exams. 👍👍
Will they ask you all of the questions , or is it the same as the car driving test? And ask 1 or 2
Anywhere between 2 and 4 normally 👍👍
