It's honestly 90 percent of my RUclips activity, it's addicting watching people discover music for the first time that you've been enjoying since childhood and early teens.
you were right, the high back up vocals ARE Roger Taylor (drummer). While Brian does backup here too, it's really Roger who carries most of that. & as much as this has that '80s sound, it is a song from 1976 Day At The Races Album. Queen were just so classic and yet fresh at the same time.
I can't believe this song came out in 1976. Freddie's modern/youthful voice and Queen in general are the definition of trans - generational music. Also Freddie controlled the rhythm and the flow of the music like a human Metronome. Simply stunning.
Roger Taylor, the highly talented drummer, always sang the really high notes. Oh yeah, did you know that Freddie never took voice lessons? And they were pretty much perfectionists (especially Brian May).
Queen is Legendary and always will be..Amazing chemistry, totally focused, very harmonized, and a lot of energy. Freddie, Brian, Roger and John, best musicians by far. Don't forget Roger's backing vocals while playing the drums. Concerts are not like that today. No lip syncing whatsoever. Pure talent. ❤️🔥
Queen fan since 1973 and imo this is the most flawless live performance ever filmed, by them or anybody else. Love how you get all the nuances. And love seeing you back reacting and reuploading. Thank you!
Agree. My first concert was in 1974 (funny enough it was Rod Stewart) I'm a concert junkie to this day. I've seen so many of the greats. I can't think of one performance better than this live performance video.
This concert was held on November 24th 1981,exactly 10 years Before Freddie's passing The way He delivered each song was excellent Rest in peace my idol,my fairy king And He dont have only beer on the piano, He usually Didnt drink, but prefered to warm up his voice with Honey and lemon in warm water.
Have you watched it with Roger and Brian doing commentary during the concert? Quite interesting. Easy enough to find on RUclips. Just hit the playlist and it flows through the whole concert.
My favorite Queen song in the world - tho I have a lot of Queen favs!!! You should check out SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Milton Keynes 1982 it’s a banger and a little different (more Freddie vocals). The energy & vibe are out of this world. 😃Personally, it’s my favorite version. That’s why the Milton Keynes concert is referred to as “Queen on Fire” 🔥 Thanks for the re-upload.
I LOVE seeing your reaction to just how good Freddie was. And in a lot of the cases he wasn’t even really trying that hard. He was JUST. THAT. GOOD. As much as I love seeing and hearing Freddie, your reaction is just the icing on the cake! “Freddie Mercury….what you doing??” Love it!
In my opinion they sounded better live than on the album. I saw them on this tour in Madison Square Garden, September 1980. Same song set, same energy, amazing show! If you want some other songs to react to...here goes: March of the Blaxk Queen/Funny How Love Is (They're paired together on the Queen II album and you miss out not doing both), Save Me, Now I'm Here, Spread Your Wings, '39, I'm in Love with my Car, It's Late to start with.
The studio version of this song really has some great harmonies. It sounds different but it is excellent as well. Check it out, Roger and Brian really smash the vocal harmonies.
This song put a smile on my face what queen was about. The live aid concert put a tear in my eyes knew what he was going through with his brothers was there for the Freddie mercury tribute at Wembley an amazing day, Freddie was a showman with dad dance moves, there will never be another Freddie x
Please watch "In The Lap of the Gods - revisited" live at Hammersmith 1975, or "In the Lap of the Gods" live at the Rainbow 1974 - it's 2 completely different songs, but both are very beautiful.
Freddie Mercery was so unike he was simpley the best performer and singer of all time missed him. All of Queen memmbers is so talented men they are simpley the best band of all time. My greatings from norway
Did you ever do “A Winter’s Tale”? Kinda Christmasy...also “Thank God It’s Christmas” is sweet - no live version of either, though. Thanks for redoing these! 🔥🎶❤️
Love your reaction to this one ❤️❤️ thank you for re uploading xx please react to the official video for Rock It (Prime Jive) you will love Rogers voice xx
This is probably my favorite live performance, Freddie amazing as always ❤ I watched your reaction months ago but never commented , I love all your reactions ❤
So this one that is my top 5 Queen songs an white Queen as it began , LIAR ,ONE YEAR OF LOVE, A WINTERS TALE ,THEN ON TO TEN HEADLONG, I WANT IT ALL, WIND IN THE FIRE , ONE VISION IN THE LAP OF THE GODS ! GOD ALL THEIR SONGS ARE THE GREATEST DAMN ITS ALL MOST IMPOSSIBLE TO PICK ONE FAVORITE ONE ARE YOU SERIOUS FOR REAL LOL
You just earned a new subscriber! Love the passion for the music and know exactly when greatness is met. I highly recommend “White Queen” live at The Odeon, Hammersmith. That’s one of my absolute favorite live performances ever. It’s a stunner! I promise. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩
Love this live one. Great to see your journey from not knowing the band members names to being able to pick out who is singing in the harmonies. Great that you're so old school with handwritten lists & slipping in the word nonchalantly 🤣🤣🤣
You are fast becoming my favourite channel for Queen reactions! You pick up all the little details & your animated pure joy with my all time favourite Queen song was so great to see! Pls react to Roger’s “I’m in love with my car” It really showcases Roger’s fantastic singing voice! In any other band he would have been the lead singer but thank God he stayed with Queen! Thank you, more Queen pls! Kind regards & appreciation from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Hello again. Love your feel for music. Try fairy queen from their first album.... its all there Freddies voice, of course Roger as well. Terrific musicianship. Great melody and all the queen changes we love. Try the lyric version
Freddie wrote this one.......Freddie wrote " Crazy Little thing CalledLove! ". Freddie knew 3 chords on the guitar! He wrote Crazy !little Thing CalledLove" in 15 minutes....tribute to Elvis!
Fairy Fellers Masterstroke! Freddy wrote it; from Queen II album, about a painting that Freddie was obsessed about by Richard Dadd which is almost as amazing as the song!
Love to hear reactions to Killer Queen, Another One Bites the Dust, Love of My Life. Not many out there. There such good songs. Miss Freddie, always will. Queen genius band.
Roger Taylor on drums has his microphone to sing into on the left, so as he drums, he has to turn his head and neck sideways and it's hard, hard to sing that way. Freddie sings into a microphone straight on...Roger twists left and sings perfectly ! Bravo Roger and I think he's a phenomenal drummer as well.
Freddie had a five octave range. There is a scientific study of his voice. No one can sing like Freddie. The study is available on prime in USA anyway.
I honestly live to watch people seeing Freddie for the first time, that's my life now.
Same hahaha
It's honestly 90 percent of my RUclips activity, it's addicting watching people discover music for the first time that you've been enjoying since childhood and early teens.
@@dylancole1910 Right with you.
Same here!!
Same here🙂
I love it when everybody’s blown away at the start, and that’s Freddie just warming up.
You can't beat Queen live! Always loved this one live.
I’ve said it a million times... there will never be anyone like Freddie Mercury. He’s unique voice hooked us all
Four perfect musicians coming together for a perfect moment in time!!!!
When Freddie was asked. "What is your favorite instrument?". Freddie replied " The audience! "

Funny you say that, Freddie or Brian I can’t remember whi
ch one of them, called Roger the human metronome.
Roger Taylor, the highly talented drummer, always sang the really high notes. Oh yeah, did you know that Freddie never took voice lessons? And they were pretty much perfectionists (especially Brian May).

Love how after that beautiful opening it's like..."I'm warmed up now, ok, let's do it."
That look to the camera says "just wait, I've not even started yet!" 😉😉😉
The best live performance in the history of music.
@@rogueliker8159 Please watch the Milton Keynes version. The beginning is so different and it's my favorite version of the song.
Thank you so much for all the Queen videos. I love love love your reaction to our Freddie.
You deserve all the recognition
And respect. We love you.❤💯
If you really want to get blown away, watch the full 1981 Montreal concert. Nonstop energy and every song done to perfection. All live and amazing!
Have you watched it with Roger and Brian doing commentary during the concert? Quite interesting. Easy enough to find on RUclips. Just hit the playlist and it flows through the whole concert.
The studio version of this is beautiful, loaded with harmonies
So poetic I feel his pain and passion the drummer has the high pitch they all r talented
One of my personal favorites, but I really like watching you enjoy it. ☺
Coming back to watch for a 2nd time ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite Queen song in the world - tho I have a lot of Queen favs!!! You should check out SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Milton Keynes 1982 it’s a banger and a little different (more Freddie vocals). Definitely, my favourite also.
I was about to say the same. Same song, entirely different interpretation.
Yes I love Milton Keynes...please react to that version as well!
It was Freddie’s favourite Queen song of all the songs he wrote.
Yes! Milton Keynes is powerful beyond belief. That intro is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard!!💛⚘
watching people lose their entire mind over this performance (and especially over roger's backing vocals) remains my favorite hobby
SAW QUEEN BACK IN THE DAY AND LOVE HOW U YOUNG PEOPLE ARE FEELING WAT I FELT 50 YRS AGO!
You are a lucky dog!
If you want to hear Roger Taylor (the drummer) singing, react to "I'm in love with my car" "rock it" or his nice tribute to Freddie "old friends"
I like your videos, continue to please us, Russia is with you! Queen forever !!!
This is a 1976 song. One of the best
In my opinion they sounded better live than on the album. I saw them on this tour in Madison Square Garden, September 1980. Same song set, same energy, amazing show! Love your love of Queen and incase I do not hear you before Have a peaceful and merry christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
Please, You Take My Breath Away, Live at Hyde Park from 1976. Wonderful performance.
My absolute favorite Queen song...goose bumps EVERY TIME I hear it. It's Late is my #2
I love your reactions. Love of My Life, live in Rock in Rio, will blow you away. 250,000 in audience sing the song to Freddy.
Live and studio, Queen still awesome. You can reupload The Prophet Song, The March Of The Black Queen and even all of the Queen songs again 😁
One of my favorites songs ever By Queen bro, greetings from Argentina,I am a new subscriber...God save the Queen!!!

The March of the Black Queen, 1974. 😍 You're gonna burn the JackThatBack down! 😉🔥
My favorite!! Thank you❤️
Say- have you listened to Roger Taylor (the drummer) self written and sung- I’m in Love With My Car? You’ll love it I’m sure!
Love the live at the bowl, Milton Keynes version of this as well!
That's my favourite so soft love it ❤️
Ps queen are brilliant at doing 1 song in so many different ways ❤️

Already have I believe; I'll be reuploading that either later today or tomorrow as the reuploads have been largely requested :).
Freddie was a gift from God
Who wants to live , Montreal with the orchestra ❤️
No auto tune. No ear piece. Perfection by all four
Ps-everyone wishes they could sing like Freddie!
Freddie Mercery was so unike he was simpley the best performer and singer of all time missed him. All of Queen memmbers is so talented men they are simpley the best band of all time. My greatings from norway
As we call it in the USA , going to church. That’s the soulfulness of the opening lyrics.
Did you ever do “A Winter’s Tale”? Kinda Christmasy...also “Thank God It’s Christmas” is sweet - no live version of either, though.
Thanks for redoing these! 🔥🎶❤️
ABSOLUTELY Beautiful
Love your reaction to this one ❤️❤️ thank you for re uploading xx please react to the official video for Rock It (Prime Jive) you will love Rogers voice xx
When Freddie looks up at the camera "Find me Somebody, Somebody!". As if to say WATCH THIS!"
The smaller glasses on the piano are honey water with lemon!
I thought the same thing about Taylor sounding like Rod Stuart! Wow too funny. Great reaction!
Love this version of this song❤️❤️❤️❤️Queen, better than the rest period ✌️
This is probably my favorite live performance, Freddie amazing as always ❤ I watched your reaction months ago but never commented , I love all your reactions ❤

Hey there. I listen to a lot of music but you have pointed out things in his vocal gymnastics that I had never thought about or really noticed before.
🎶🤗😍🤗🎶 Roger use to take over singin when Freddy needs a vocal rest durin live performances... 💗
You are fast becoming my favourite channel for Queen reactions! You pick up all the little details & your animated pure joy with my all time favourite Queen song was so great to see! Pls react to Roger’s “I’m in love with my car”

Don't be sad - - he is the best singer of all times! - - and no auto-tune - just pure musicianship from all four of them. He has a range of 4 octaves.
I love watching people react to Queen for the first time😂 Just subbed. I look foward to your reactions.Much love from Canada❤🇨🇦
Your best reaction I believe,, then again you just watched a complete performance by the boys
Roger (the drummer) is singing the high backing vocals 🙂
Freddie had a 6 to 7 octaves range! When he was writing the Opera "Barcelona" he sang all Montserrat Caballe's parts!
Great reaction. Your genuine enthusiasm is engaging. Ty…
It is from 1976. Roger has a very high register. Check out some of the earlier Queen when he shrieks and screams in some songs.
A Day at the Races
Now you have to do the Milton Keynes version, so soulful!!!🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
Bohemian Rspsody from this concert is amazing❤
Will be hard to find, but "Gimme the Prize!!". The name of the song tells you what the so g is about. ..Will blow your Sox off!
If you watch the mix of queen and david bowie you hear how high he can hit. It's insane.
Hello again. Love your feel for music. Try fairy queen from their first album.... its all there Freddies voice, of course Roger as well. Terrific musicianship. Great melody and all the queen changes we love. Try the lyric version
React to Somebody To Love Live in Hammersmith Odeon 1979 and Paris 1979.
Have you seen this song performance at The Milton Bowl? OMG OMG OMG! Love you Sir!!👅
Teo Torriatte (Let us cling together) from the same album, ‘A Day At The Races’.
Freddie Mercury's Clarke's name was Peter Hince....you can find out a lot about Freddie by researching his roadie....

Iconic Legend Perfect
They was only British crowds could react so quickly to what Freddie wanted you to do
Highlander music video.....Queen....... "Gimme the Prize!". Found it for you. ...Freddie did all the voices!
I've seen Queen live. TOTALLY AWE INSPIRING . Been a fan since the early 70s.

Because He was A God walking as man
You should listen to Roger singing I’m in love with my car. He has a great voice
It’s been said that Superman wears a Freddy Mercury teeshirt.
True talent. One of the best bands. Freddie died from aids 1991.
What Queen did in the studio did live in there music
Please listen to Let me Live, Queen
Freddie had a five octave range. There is a scientific study of his voice. No one can sing like Freddie. The study is available on prime in USA anyway.
If you haven’t done so yet,Save Me is also an excellent live number.
I wish I could of been sat beside of you well listening to this
