When I first started this excercise, the back of of neck would hurt, but with practise and focus I can now do it with no pain. It’s the same with some of the other exercises, the more you practice and focus, you can feel when the muscles are moving. So anyone thinking of giving up, just persevere.
Done Series 1 & now onto Series 2.. i think now I have a better understanding of what I did wrong in Series 1. Can't wait to go back after Series 3 & restart Series 1 for better results! Am happy to see changes just 8 weeks into Faceaerobics (a more defined jawline, lifted eyelids and reduction in jowls). Xx

You definitely can't rush through your program it is a rythem and focus is so important! In the beginning I made many mistakes but when I went back and persevered with your program I was determined to get it right! I have had amazing success! I'm willing to try this...but I just don't see how it will help as skin releases its attachment to muscle as we age and collects in front... so what happens with muscles doesn't help that.

Can you give an exercise that tightens my neck ? I tape my neck on the sides from the sides around the back with a neck tape band…it eliminates the bands down the front of my neck ..xoxo

Peta, do you think mask wearing could have produced quickly sagging & drooping skin around the chin & contribute to turkey neck? I’m only 41 and am trying to dig myself out of some chronic illness I’ve been dealing for about 3 years. But wearing a mask produced some very negative skin sag & wrinkling since masking was required. Almost through series one now & loving the exercises. Hoping to see some improvements in the next few months
Is it important to have the backsides of the fingers touching the neck because my nails are going me. I’m thinking the idea is that it’s giving resistance and so it’s not important to have the whole surface of the back of my hand against the skin of my neck, but I’d like to double check. Hey Rosanna, to the playlists and have a look at the series. This is Series 1 a very good series of exercises. Learn the exercises and then put them together into a routine following the method of 50 reps 2 weeks, 100 reps 2 weeks and 150 reps 2 weeks. When you finish, start again with Series 2 and repeat.

I kinda have one and i wanna try to minimize it by and to not get worse over the years, since I learned from you that your nose is always changing. I'm so confused because some doctors sill say the platysma bands are over using the muscles to botox them and then some will say it's because the muscle is weak to strengthen them . Thoughts ?
There's whole set of exercises you have to follow to get the best results- "turkey neck" is just but one exercise of the set 1 consisting of 6 exercises. Check it up at Ms Peta's site on how to start, she explains everything. Ms Peta warns against exercising only the chosen muscles of the face- you must proceed with the whole set, or you won't achieve the optimal results. Once you learn all the 6 exercises of set1 you do 50 repetitions of each exercise for 2 weeks once a day, 5 days a week+ 2 days rest; then100 rep. for 2 weeks, and 150 rep for 2 weeks. Once set 1 is finished you continue with set 2, then 3, etc. Hope it helps.

why do you tell us to do it daily, I thought all exercises need to be done in a full-face routine and only for a 6 week period!! so can you do it everyday for a minute?
Can you please tell me why I should buy the facerobics and not a facial flex? Could I be lazy and use a facial flex for the bottom face and use your exercises for the top face ?
In fact, when you check Ms Peta's channel out, you'll see she generously shared facerobic exercises for free. I'm a great fan of this channel and I remember her once commenting to follow her program without any changes, if you want to achieve the results she is a living proof of herself.
Please allow me to answer your question.....Peta's routines are FAR more thorough and comprehensive. The results you will see/experience with her routines are quantum leaps better than using that device for your lower face and nothing else. The difference is like night and day. For reference, I am familiar with both the facial flex and it's counterpart, the Flexaway (same concept, higher quality...much smaller company). Both have a good "effort to results" ratio; as it's one simple move. And given how they target the mouth area (which connects to most lower face muscles) one WILL see improvement....but it will NEVER come close to the gains you'll get from moves which isolate the particular stubborn areas (jowls, for example)_ Of course, Peta's routines require effort and study; but in this case, you'll "get out of it what you put into it." I know a couple of ladies who continue using facial flex as the 'finishing touch' to their lower-face routines......maintaining that the device has merit; although they 'aren't enough' by themselves to achieve the level of lift/sculpting they're seeking. Stupidly I've been neglecting my neck and realized how important it is to do a better full face routine. During the jewelry exercise from a few days ago is when I really felt the strain. My own stupidity.

Do you find that your abdominal muscles are involved as well in this exercise, or I am doing it wrong if that happens?
Yes, but you have to just focus on the nuscles you are working on your face
