I was using the MG as an always on pedal with the boost for solos. Lately I switched to just using the MG for solos stacked on top another OD pedal. Basically the pedal can used for a lot of different needs.
The Belle could be nice. Like I said the MG with the external boost is pretty versatile. The only issue I had with it was it doesn’t play nice with some buffered pedals. Mainly digital delays.
Could you test them with single coils and p90s? curious to hear what is sounds like. Also it would improve the quality of your tests by using a looper! It would also allow you to tweak in the middle of playing to make fine adjustments

I totally agree. The MXR is not worth it, while the Marshall is a great pedal but the JHS has more options, more volume and more gain

With which pedal you stack the MG?
Currently I have a screamer in front of it with the gain barely on. After the MG is Notaklon with gain cranked.
