Hello, I just subscribed your videos. A small question that I ask myself How many pellets does the magazine hold? And how many magazines in total do you take for varmint shooting at night. And how much in total the autonomy in air? Because 300 rats in one night 🙄 First of all, thanks for the subscription it really helps. The magazines hold 28 pellets and we both have two each. I have also designed up some 3D speed loaders to help in the reloading of the magazines. As for the air we carry a Scuba dive tank with us in the cat and re-fill the guns through out the night. We get around 160-200 shots for a full charge of air. As for 300 rats in a night... without being smug, that's pretty low for us. Our best shoot was 767 rats and about 60 pigeons in one nights work.

I've heard that the sometimes the rats will get accustomed to the IR light - associate it with lots of killings and start taking it as a problem. Are you ever seeing anything like that - where they become wary of the IR light?
Did a Google search as I was fairly confident that rats like humans can't see IR light. Here is what I came up with. Do rats see IR? Infrared light (IR), used in night-vision cameras, is part of the electromagnetic spectrum with longer wavelengths than those of visible light, putting it beyond the range our eyes can see. With the exception of some bats and snakes, IR is invisible to most living things, so the rats cannot normally see or perceive it. So I would say that they have no idea that they are light up more then Snoop Dog, before they get shot.
@@SouthOZHobbyHunter Perhaps I'm misstating it then. I'm assuming the 'light' that lights them up is a red light, correct?
