Outstanding and very satisfying. What happens if the rats or pigeons fall into where the hogs are? BTW, even though I'm from Texas, I don't take offence to the Texas Enema, lol.
I've read/heard that rats/birds eat between 25-30% of their body weight per day. It adds up to a lot of wasted feed for the farmers, that consumers pay for.
Rats are 15-20 grams of food and pigeons are 20-30 grams, times that by 365 day in a year and then by the amount of pests we removed this night from the food chain and you can see why the farmers are happy.
Thank you for including more pigeons. There certainly wasn't any shortage of targets at the farm, furry or feathered. They both need to be controlled, as they both cost a lot in terms of feed and damage. I'll be looking for the next video. Great shooting from both of you.
Nice work man. Lots of kills for the farmer. Looks like they are not helping themselves much. Feed on the ground in places and not much passive defensive. Keeps you busy though. Cheers mate. 👍💪
The place does have it's issues but overall it is in reasonable condition. They are in the process of building new pens and I think they plan to knock down the old ones, once the others are ready.
Excellent shooting guys! 😎 I think that flying rat with the egg should be counted as a Double Kill 🤠 Bob must have had a second Double Kill with the rats at 17:35 👍
Yeah I thought so after the edit was done and it was too late in the night to change it. As for the double rat kill for Bob, I couldn't confirm the second rat went down so sadly it doesn't count.
I miss the videos of FELINE FURY. Apparently you did such a good job that now cats are extinct, that's good, but at the same time, we won't have any more FELINE FURY, and that's bad
The problem with pigeons is not only the feed that they are eating. They are transmitting a lot of diseases, ticks and other parasites. Also their dropping very acidic, and can dissolve almost anything, and discussing on the ground as well.
Pest control is just that. Those that do not or do not want to understand will always have issues with it. You are there to reduce the numbers and deter the feral pigeons and the rats etc. You can't pick and chose which ones to take. The only exception to this is if the shot isn't safe. Crack on with the good work.
Good stuff once again I got out to a new permission and wow there are a shit load of pigeons must of been a good breading season got my new PB with the shotty to can't wait to get back out there at the moment it's just to wet
@@SouthOZHobbyHunter I wish I could but my permission said no cameras so permissions are hard to come buy so I have to do the right thing and follow his wishes I am gonna look into it for other permissions cheers

Slugs carry far too much power and can cause additional damage that we don't want. Plus at the ranges we engage at pellets are perfect for the job and far cheaper than slugs too.
Hello ! girlfriend found your channel. shooting is one of my hobies. to me shooting pigeons is the best, to her shooting ferral cats. these two creatures I mentioned, are very unwanted, useless....we also trap cats on our land, we have a swimmingpool, that is where the trapped ones end up mostly. ferral, domesticated, kitten, they end up in catheaven. or cat hell. 🤣. best catch to us was a pregnant cat, so we felt happy about that, who knows how many killer we destroyed. lots of uneducated peeps think we are evil, but oh well. she hates cats, and I am happy to agree with her!
Please come to Korea and deal with the sky mouse. Not sure about your laws in regards to doing this but if it was legal then I am sure there are people in your country that could help.
Outstanding and very satisfying. What happens if the rats or pigeons fall into where the hogs are? BTW, even though I'm from Texas, I don't take offence to the Texas Enema, lol.
They usually get eaten by the hogs. Seen it on other pest control videos.
@@jeriwollmann7366 Kind of figured that, thanks.
Yes these pigs will eat the rat or pigeon if it falls into the pen. We try not to make them fall in but it still happens now and then.

At 17:36 I believe that was a double-kill. As usual, good work. I look forward to your videos.
It was close to a double kill but I was not completely sure on the second rat, so I didn't count it.
6:17 this part is easily one of my favorites
Yes I kind of like it myself..... some one suggested it counts as a Two for One shot.
@@SouthOZHobbyHunter actually, it may be a 3 for one, since I think I saw a second egg that didnt fall out
@@spicylizards4714 LOL yes I did see that during the edit.
another great video , thanks for helping the farmers , and keep up the good work.

Seems to be an everlasting supply of rats and skyrats at that farm. You have taken out thousands, but they still come for more!
Yeah, you knock a few down and they are just replaced by four more.
Unbelievable amount of rats at this farm. The two of you must have bowled over a couple of thousand so far. Same goes for the pigeons.
I did do a yearly tally and the numbers were impressive.
@@SouthOZHobbyHunter I cam imagine. Must have been up in the thousands.
The mess they make is reason enough to want them gone
Great shooting ! You really showed those sky rats whose in charge!!
We did get quite a few this trip out.
Doves are some good eating. Boys around here can't wait for Dove season to open up!!!!
Yes dove are and so are pigeons but not these ones as they might be carrying diseases and this is why we are removing them.
What a coincedence. I live in Idaho now but I saw the the Battle of Britain when it first came out in an Australian theatre in Albany. Long time ago
There you go, I live in Albury/Wadonga for a year or so and have been back a few times.

Oh there are still plenty of cat out and about. I have a few videos on the way with some good cat shots.
Do you get a bounty on cats, down South? We have a $10 bounty per cat and $5 per kitten.
@@ArmouryTerrain No for some reason they don't pay for feral cats but feral dog do have a bounty so I am told.
Wonder how many pidgin lover's drink tank water 🤣 cheers from mid north coast of NSW
Yeah, I think if they really understood what these birds do they might re-think some things.
The problem with pigeons is not only the feed that they are eating. They are transmitting a lot of diseases, ticks and other parasites. Also their dropping very acidic, and can dissolve almost anything, and discussing on the ground as well.
Yes, people need to understand the damages these birds can do and not only on farms.
Once again fine shooting guys and I'm never going to be offended if you hit a dove they're worse than rats where I live keep up the good work

Yes I think so. The video is only recorded in 1080P so some of the quality is lost.
you keep your scope on those rats, sir! well done.

I'd love to do this for a living but idk if I would need a pest control license or not
Yes you would need a license and also public liability insurance. The insurance is what mostly stopped me from looking into doing this for a living.

On 7:13 why did You went for the single shoot, when You could made a double on the other ones instead?
Because I have more chance of a clean kill on one bird than wounding two. I am there to ensure a clean kill when possible.
