You and fbi: forget being infested, two of my favorite pest and ferral animal culling channels. Glad to see another upload and ty for your time making these vids.
After doing research, I personally would use the, I believe their called Prometheus pellets, they have a hollow point but with a point coming out of the middle with a light grain in .177, which would be accurate over long distances with a high velocity, kinetic energy is the real death blow here and that setup would keep the pellet going into the target or turn it into the target if it's a glancing contact! Happy hunting & love your channels content!
Not sure if that was an arterial spray as I saw that when I was editing it and went frame by frame on it....I think it looked more like a bug or fly in the still shots. Either way it still looked good.
295!!! OMG!! I trust you. To shoot them was just the beggining of the work. How much would that be on kilograms ? How big should be the hole you must dig to bury them? Cheers from Bogota.
Thankfully the farmer does all the collecting and disposal of the dead bodies. He wants us shooting not wasting time picking them up, he is more than happy to do that for us.
My friend, that was a lot of rats, and pigeons too. Nice shooting as usual. I think an "all feathers" video would be nice too. I like the bird shooting as well as the rats. Anyway, keep the great videos coming, and keep thinning out that rat population.
@@SouthOZHobbyHunter these rats are like zombies, they keep coming, you have to find their nest and take out the babies, some pet shops will gladly buy those rats off you, since they use mice to feed snakes and other reptiles

The bait boxes are no long used as the farmer has switched to a different bait. This way the rats don't get too wary of the boxes and stop using them altogether.
I've not heard it said, but I sincerely hope you recover & eat all the pigeons you take. They're called "squab" in high-class restaurants, are very good eating, & it's a sad, sorry thing to see edible game go to waste, feral or not. Here in the central USA(Midwest), there's a flock of feral pigeons roosting around most every farmstead, dining on the livestock grain feed. For many a youngster that grew up rural, pigeons were the first bird species you harvested & learned to clean. There are many dove recipes out there, & it substitutes quite well for chicken in many others. But a nice choice is pigeon pot pie, a wonderfully delicious dish, & if you've never had it, you're really missing out.
I have eaten pigeon but it had been purposely bred for eating. As these birds are feral/wild ones and one of the reasons we are shooting them is because of the diseases that they might be carrying. Eating them might not be a wise move. If the world economy collapses, they might become a food source.
Have you ever tried one of those big rodent multi-catch live traps I bet if it were new to them they wouldn’t be scared of it. Obviously the gun works better but I’d love to see a video of a multi catch
