So I started listening to them when I first started going to High School, and have only listened to them for about two or three years now... Dan Moscato man justice is my favorite album after Load. I started off with six Metallica songs then my mom bought me Load and ReLoad on an off chance. I was so happy, being ten years old and listening to your first real band is a feeling like no other

I went to the same high school as James Hetfield. "Don't Tread on Me" is one the most patriotic songs I've ever heard.
If the liberal PC movement ever "erases" our National Anthem, you can bet I'd replace it with Metallica's "Don't Tread on Me".

Don't just take my word for it. Research "Cancel Culture", and you'll see what I mean. You are incorrect that DTOM is not about America. I don't know who told you that. It's ALL about America. The song describes the Gadsden flag, which was designed in support of freedom, independence, and for the United States military. It was designed during the American Revolution and used by the Continental Marines, who fought for America.

I agree that they probably meant it more as a “don’t fuck with us” song, but it’s absolutely about America to some degree.

actually in schools in the USA, we're required to take a class of foreign language, we mostly have a choice of either spanish, german, or french. dont forget that have the people in the US, are immigrants, so almost everybody in the US knows something more than english

Generally during 2011 and 2010 concerts he sounded like that, however from watching the concerts performed during this Tour, he seems far better.

DEFINITELY won't argue ...Justice being his best recorded effort. When I say Lars shined I meant it was comfortably in his skillset and he played it well. Not like other songs where he rushes the beat, 'changes up to make it "fresh"', or simply sloppily uses his ankles instead of his legs. Justice is my personal fav Because of his drumming. Trying to pay him a compliment while I see James working circles around him. ;)
And to think that I left Lisbon 5 days earlier...I missed an awesome show...darn...

Guitar with floyd rose tremolo, which Kirk was using, is hard tuned back up instantly if any of the strings breaks or goes out. That's why he requested another one.
There's a difference between being shy and not giving a fuck, but I kinda agree with you. But if you check some stuff from the meet and greet videos, you'll see that there are conversations in which he explores some common ground with the fans, and most of those are more interesting to watch than others.
BTW, Lars really is a cool guy from what I've seen. Sometimes I don't get why people label him as being a dick.

Time what have you done. James looked sooo young back then.. only 10 years ago.. anyway. The still look good to day and they are after all back in shape. Very tight on stage. And. James looks scarred but sooo strong and healthy 💙 kirk is a beautiful man.. Rob is Rob. He looks like hell live up to 100years And lars is energetic. Still so.

The black album was where Lars really shined. These songs sound great, Lars is doing Awesome on this...all the while James is secretly writing killer riffs with harmonics... looking forward to the new album
