Musicians get in their own heads quite often. You just never notice because they make their mistakes sound good. Also, if you're playing with a band, you have safety in numbers. I am an accompanist and the pressure can be SCARY when you're playing in front of hundreds of people. But you go through it and get stronger.
I wish that someday the bass would be able to hear in the mix…

I'm a drummer end of bass player I've seen lots of footage of cliff and Robert Trujillo and I have all the Metallica's albums and I can honestly say this if Robert Trujillo ever hit a wrong note playing anything Cliff wrote I'm pretty sure that Cliff would be totally fine with it and I think Cliff is absolutely at peace with a guy like Rob to be playing with his former bandmates and we all love cliff end Jason and Rob and all the guys in Metallica and the road crew that has busted their ass over the years to bring all of us fans a great live concert and a fun evening out and also I don't think I'm alone on this one besides that James I absolutely love your beatnik hot rod car
