Hey everyone! The acoustic guitar in this video is a Donner Full-size 41 inch dreadnought cutaway. Black Friday specials have just begun for Donner and links are in the description if you'd like to check it out :) This guitar is amazing for the price that you spend. It comes with a clip on tuner, capo, extra picks, a pack of strings, and more. If you are a beginner or musician looking for an instrument with great value, give it a try! A note about the song. I decided to go with Clapton's strum pattern in the Verse and Chorus. Above the tab, the n shape means "Downstrum" and the v shape means "Upstrum". I am just trying this approach for this video to see what you guys think. I love Clapton's approach to solos. His phrasing is always great and he plays with amazing feel. What are some other Clapton songs that you would like to see on the page? Good luck with this tune!
I have been playing for over 20 years and just now came accross your site. 1. Your playing is impeccable. 2. Your taste in music seems to very much be the same as mine. 3. The format of the tutorial is the best I've ever seen. You have it all. Acurate tab, background track and your playing note for note! Just want to say thank you !
Having grown up in the Unplugged era I remember a time in my life when this was the only version of Layla I really knew, and I knew it very well. Thanks for reminding me of this version. Great job!
Wow! Thank you for taking the time and effort to make this video and share it! Also, your performance is breathtaking! I'm bowled over by your playing, and the moving TAB is a tremendous help to my learning Layla!
I thought so too. I'm happy to do promo for entry level guitars because I never had them this good when I started. Thank you and I will continue posting for sure :)
Love the vids keep them comming, only complaint is that you still havent used some sort of time machine to go back to the early 80tys with this stuff, you would also have to bring internet back with you, kids today have most if not all of their work done for them with these vids great stuff
i REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST STARTED PLAING GUITAR (AS AN INTEREST) THIS WAS ONE OF THE SONGS I WANTED TO LEARN TOOK ME A WHOLE MONTH TO LEARN; SOLOS AND ALL
Bro you have the best channel on RUclips! Found you looking for Bon Jovi Wanted. Where can I get these backing tracks and lessons all one place? Sign me up!
This is amazing, personally I've never heard the acoustic version but I love it. I was wondering for a song suggestion if you could do Anthem - Rush, that would mean a lot since its was the first song I heard by Rush
