    I really love the way you guys use the media for these lessons. The way you organize the song sections, show the strumming pattern and chords logically, have the fretboard visual. And end with a follow along playthrough. You really use RUclips to maximum effectiveness in a way that very few do.
    And this song in particular is extra fun to play and not very hard outside of the solos, and you even make that part doable.
    So thanks for these!

    You’re videos are so well put together and instructed that they make me think “oh I can do that” and then I do. Never thought I’d be able to touch this song until years of practice but half way through the main solo now. Great work.

    I used to learn this song by tabs so long time ago. I even didn't have internet so we had to bought tab books at local store to learn this beautiful blues. And you know what? Man we played it wrong way :p You are so kind to show us how Eric does it. Especially little E chord link and both solos.

    Holy guacamole! Thank you! I tried playing this song in A minor on fourth fret for a while but I never really got the original sound. I was pretty tired already when I saw this video. I hadn’t learned anything new in a while and I kind of had given up on Layla but I tried once more. And saweet djeesas! This sounds exactly like Layla unplugged! Thank you! I feel so good having learned this! Please make more of these advanced videos.

    Very good lesson. A lot of work has gone into this. The tab at the bottom while the notes are playing is a top idea as I can visualize the tab and play it in my mind . It helps me learn.

    Amazing guitar tutorial. Just got one question. How do you play on the 10th and 13th fret on a 3/4 guitar? It's so hard for me to press the strings without muting them. I try bending my hand and thumb to kind of wrap around the guitar but it doesn't help much.

    when playing the d minor at the beginning of the song, what is the best way to mute the high E? or should i just avoid it

    Great lesson. Well explained. If you use your pinkie finger to play the D note on the B string for the Dm chord in the main riff, it frees up your 3rd finger to play the C note on the A string. (Also useful for While My Guitar Gently Weeps)

    For the intro d minor you can also use your pinky on the 3rd fret of the b string it makes it sound full without having to rush your middle finger
