Thank you Darrick! I really appreciate the support 🙏
I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the new Montage successor coming end of the year 👀

I personally feel like this is a luxury plug in, personally. Was looking for a more tape simulator effect. Really cool to experience different textures of your sound.
It’s like cooking a well cooked meal and then ruining it with unnecessary spices and “flavorings” lol I tend to do that with plugins like this.
To be fair to the plug-in if you are more experienced on the mixing side, or just like to finesse your sounds to make other sounds you can def have some fun with this 💯✊🏾🕊️

I see your point, but I've found you can 'overdo' basically any plugin. Flavor Pro can be heavy handed with the presets so hopefully by the end of a video like this you'd be fully equipped to tweak the plugin for subtle effects 👍

Thanks for that. Definitely gave me some ideas to try. It's a really great plugin but I have to be careful not to overuse it.

Hope it helped in some way! Definitely can over do it with Flavor Pro, but the trick is to be subtle for your mixes 👍

I think air flavor pro was there best plugin when I used a mpc and better then air flavor that’s built in, helped me get a dirty sound mpc to clean for my taste but they have pro delay now and jura seems good if the rumors are true and the mpc mini comes out with new software I’d give akai another shot

@@GeorgeL909 supposedly it will be white or black and look like a mini live 2 hopefully 🤞 it’s has some mini good speakers 🔊 I think 🤔 they going after the sp 404 mk2 market next and hope it has a mini 🎙️ microphone

Wow, first I've heard of the MPC Mini ... would make sense to capture that smaller portable market if the hardware feels good. Not sure if I could handle a smaller touch screen though 🤣

It's an awesome efrect. But I really mis Tape Saturation. that sweet compression high roll off... Or is it somewhere and I missed it?

You can simulate it with tools like the global low pass filter. In fact the first preset is a tape machine emulation I believe. Most of the presets are a bit heavy handed so I feel like you always need to tweak them a bit.
But you're right, theres no direct Tape Saturation model in the distortion module. A bit strange.

That’s the main thing that would have set Pro from air flavor. Of course pro is more detailed and in-depth but air flavor gives me the sweet sound that I’m looking for.

Peace. Great video brother. I have a question. In the beginning of the video you said you don't put the Air Flavor pro effect on the master and you put it on the track. How do you put effects on individual tracks? I'm new to the newer MPCs

Hit the mix button. There's two versions of the mix within that realm. It's a track mixer and it goes deeper and give u a pad mixer. Say like u used track 1 from drum one shots.. but in totality track one represents your whole drum kit. So when I say u can go deeper. U press the mix button twice it'll allow u to put an effect on say.. your snare alone and leave the other ancillary pieces alone. Tinker with it. If what I'm saying don't make sense it will.

Can I buy it twice if I want to activate it on more than 3 MPCs/computers?

Yes, just make sure you're logged into the right account to apply the additional serial number 👍

Its cool. But i wish akai would ATTEMPT to put that flavor into their HARDWARE and make it sound like that internally. Im not impressed but a 100$ office pc with pads on it that can run a VST. This isnt an attack to you, its one on akai. You get what im saying? They could make hardware be hardware instead they just make a office pc, a shitty one and put plugins on it
