Thanks for this exellent review / tutorial ...very professional ,and a joy to watch ! Akai should pay you to do more of this content / tutorials / demonstrations 😀
i think MULT just multiplies the dry with the wet, this is what an amplifier, or VCA, does, so we have somthing similar to AM or ring modulation between dry and wet, hence the distortion. the DIFF basically use subtraction, which means that the DRY signal is inverted in phase and mixed with the WET signal, remember that SUM is mixing, basically, SUBTRACTION is mixing with one signal phase inverted, MULTIPLICATION is amplification and amplitude modulation
did anyone else had the problem, that you cant activate the plugin pn the mpc one? i cant figure ou why. i followed all the steps from akai . when i trie to activate, i get the message : couldnt validate license from the server (license status 8)
It seems to be a common problem. I’m not sure how to go about it. Your best bet would be to get in touch with Akai’s support 🤷🏻♂️ Chat would be quickest probably. Good luck! It’s a great plugin. Hope you get it sorted…
Depends on what else you have going on. It’s not the most CPU efficient standalone but you can easily run a couple of instances without a hitch and when you do run into CPU problems, you can just bounce/flatten the pad 🤷🏻♂️
Bro the editing was immaculate hooooly, that looks like it took a lot of work.
Thanks dude. Yeah, not going to lie...it was a brutal edit. lol. Hope it helped!
@@WatermarkHigh Was worth it 10/10

Thank you for the kind words! It’s so much work but if not done properly to really help, what’s the point imo? Glad you found it helpful 🙌🏼

Awesome, thank you!

so with DIFF you have all kind of choruslike phasing effects due to the fact that while the dry is stable, the wet is pitch modulated.
Oh ok, that makes sense. Thanks a lot for clarifying, really appreciate it!
@@WatermarkHigh you welcome mate, very good informative video! keep em comin'

@@WatermarkHigh thanks man!
Hi.
How much RAM will this plugin with some preset take on mpc in standalone mode?
Depends on what else you have going on. It’s not the most CPU efficient standalone but you can easily run a couple of instances without a hitch and when you do run into CPU problems, you can just bounce/flatten the pad 🤷🏻♂️
@@WatermarkHigh Thank you🙏
How do you even open air flavor pro? I have it activated and downloaded..where do i see it so i can use it?
It should be under the “harmonic” section of your insert effects.
Right on man
🙌🏼
Thanks🔥
🙌🏼
RC-20 maybe....
Yeah, they’re similar and that’s okay. Stoked to have these options available on MPC!
this plugin replaces izotope vynil, McDSP futzbox/audiothing speakers, rc20, and more....
Yeah, pretty much 🤷🏻♂️ Adds so much to the MPC…
Don’t waste your money
