Template, build your own template and start a track with your favorite sounds, no need to label every time. Marco Polo expansions are a great investment, EAski drums are always finding their way into my beats!
This video is packed with valuable MPC tips from start to finish!
Yea brother. Keep these coming. That set list tip. Definitely a great one. You saved time for sure.
Great info!!! Thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Awesome video ,I’ve been following this channel since I bought my mpc in the covid days ,I can always refer back to the catalogue of videos for inspiration and education .Thank you for keeping this channel rolling through all life’s challenges Ave McRee .
Much thanks for this, the MPC keys 37 is my first MPC, and I have much to learn. 👍 and subscribed
As a starter with a mpc one it's very helpful , thank you .
I was struggling to find a way to have a keygroup for one sample in particular ( beside having it in a drum program and activating the 16 level notes ) so tip 27 is spot on !
The sampling section tips will also help me a lot ;)
Great video my brother. That track mutant is on point. I've been trying to do that for 2 weeks and already said everything for the temple. Thank you man. Thank you
Much appreciated
I appreciate your work! Really great tips and it goes into the details. Thanks Ave! I’m in the process of buying my first MPC and this helps me to find out the differences in workflow and capabilities of the gear. I’m between key 37, key 61 and MPC one plus. With the key 61 I would get much more plugins so the higher price is justified. BUT it takes more space and I really like the SD card slot of the other models. So, a really hard decision🥹
What's up Ave my dude! Great to see you - helpful video, great job as always!!
Thanks for the visit
Thanks tons for another really helpful video my man! Bigups from Germany!
My pleasure!
Good tips in here. Thanks. 😎
Dope tips Ave I needed these ✊🏾
Glad to hear it
You have shown us a lot using this hard ware!
What’s up Ave? Been a long time since you post some MPC tips and tricks. I hope you can post more MPC beat making and live cook ups in the future!
Great video! 1 thing I did want to chime in on, you CAN host the SD card to your computer from the Key37, only caveat is you MUST open the MPC Software on the Mac/PC (Mac in my case) so it recognizes the MPC. Once the MPC itself goes back to the main screen you'll see your SD card pop up as a drive on the computer so you can drag and drop stuff in and out of it. As soon as you close the program or hit Standalone on the MPC it will disconnect your SD card, so you have to make sure you eject the drive from your computer BEFORE going back into standalone mode. Weird little set of extra steps but it saves you from having to move cards back and forth and buy extra readers.
I was going to say the same thing after watching I drag and drop with my key 37 all the time
thanks for making this
I had no idea about "set lists". This is handy as heck. Thank you.
I was not sure how to use this feat. now my ideas are running wild....
that vintage mode!! small but a lot at the same time!
Lots of good info in here. I've only bought a few expansions. I'm getting what I need done, mostly with the factory sets!! I play keys and bass though. Awesome vid!!
Great job.....u da man
Solid one, my guy!
thanks
Thank you 🫡
You can drag and drop from host/ controller mode on the MPC ONE original. I do it all the time .
I was just about to say exactly what you said, when the unit first dropped it didnt have the capability, people claimed it was because it was a lower tiered unit compared to the other akai models. But after one of the millions of updates, they fixed it.
And the key 61
I'm about to grab that MPC right now
Nice video, Lost of good info that is going to help me out.
Gr8 tips..think I need to rewatch though cos I don't remember well
hung out with you today✌🏾 Ave ... thanks for the tips and always helpful dope ass video ..
Appreciate you
You are amazing at tutorials but don’t think we do t appreciate and love you “Machine Learning” Album
Such a cool albulm man
Thanks!
Good looking on the QLINK Edit tip. If you set up your effects correctly you can almost emulate an SP404. Air Flava Pro and Flex Beat together.
Regarding the metronome. I don't know if you can do it on key 37. On LIVE II, if you hold shift + Play start you can turn on and off the Metronome.
Menu + Pad 14 at all times. Salute Ave.
great video bro bro
After years of using the MPC I still dont name my tracks like a knucklehead. Im just fortunate that I usually remember what's what. This is actually a VERY useful tip!!
@docwhammo you'll get used to it. It'll become 2nd nature once you do. And there's always multiple ways to do every single thing which is what I like. No 2 MPC users do things the same way.
Nice video, thanks :D
No problem!
Is there a way to rearrange or customize your pads to have all your sounds lined up in a particular order?
BTW Ave, you can access the SD card via controller mode on MPC one to drag and drop. Just saw a few people debunked this in the comments✌
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Is there any audio streaming over USB into a DAW like Pro Tools possible? No additional audio interface. I somehow can't get it to work at all. I don't want to export stems all as separate files, if I can stream audio per track somehow?
Hi ave how do I hang up apollo twin with big knob studio +. and mixer board PMXu83bt 8 channel studio.i have 3 studio speakers. Please help Thank you.
Do a review on the Adobe AI music prompting tool if that is interesting for the channel! The technology is good enough to use... not sure how "great" it really is. Either way I think its important that ai music tools compliment the ai art tools. New era where everyone has the same ability to generate free content that is good enough to serve its purpose. Exciting times!
next time you do a video you do it just like that. good job my guy.😂😂
I try
How do you adjust the tempo of beats after you’ve exported them in song mode?
Oh wow
Ave quick question on the pad perform why is it that most are highlighted in yellow and a few highlighted in red what does that mean can anyone explain it to me
Red is the root key and the other keys in the scale
Thank you. I always want to ask that question. 😊
1 tip I wish I would’ve known .. if you don’t have a mpc you could buy a surface pro 5 for like 175 bucks install MPC software and have a standalone MPC . 🤯🤯🤯
I see you ave your finger drumming got way better
😂yup
How do i delete a beat i made on my key 37???
Is there a way to silent select? This way I don’t have to hear the sound when I select it. Gets annoying after a while
I believe go to browser then audition
@@Big_Billi I know there’s a way
17:16 Well color me surprised as a MF. I had no idea 😂. Thanks dude!!🫡
Damn bro bro. My order was supposed to be delivered March 3rd. Then it moved to March 16th. Now its May 16.......WTF!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Still waiting for Stems . . . .
Dude, you should really get your cam resolution sorted out. It's becoming a joke at this point. There's really no excuse for this 720p crap that doesn't allow your audience to visually follow what you're doing. And you call yourself a tutor? Shame on you. You HAVE the MPC knowledge, you HAVE the MPC experience. Still, you're cutting yourself short with these amateur visuals that forces people to look elsewhere to learn the MPC.
"I just got the MPC One+, and it's a bit of a mess. When I tried to use it with the software on my Mac, it started playing sounds as soon as I pressed the record button. Then I realized that all the buttons were triggering sounds, and when I pressed a pad, it would trigger two sounds simultaneously. I've been searching for a solution but haven't found one yet. Additionally, when using it as a plugin, MIDI triggering only works for one thing at a time. For example, if I have drums on track 1 and try to add a bass on track 2, it won't respond - there's no MIDI triggering for the second instrument. Has anyone else managed to get this working?"
Thanks!
