@julius5080 that’s is why you always back up your sd card very often. Atleast once a week. If not every other day depending on how many beats you make. Just a tip I got from old school Cats that dealt with Floppy’s with old MpC.
I have watched many MPC tutorials and by far you have the best tutorial videos.. Keep them coming bro really appreciate it.. u make it so simple to understand
I know it may seem like the internal storage increase doesn’t do anything but I’ve learned from building computers the more internal storage you have the better it runs which is probably why the one+ is slightly faster than the og one when booting up or booting sessions etc
Excellent. Mine will be here any day. So excited to get it. I've used several classic MPC models over the years, most recently the Touch, so I already have a good idea of what they do. All that to say that your tutorial was excellent. Great content. You just earned a new subscriber
Update. My machine came the day after I made this comment and I absolutely love it. I thought the color would bother me but it fits in perfectly because all my gear is black, white and red. That aside, it works great. Like riding a bike
True, but they did change the crazy voltage requirements so you can run it from a usb c power bank with a 12v PD cable, which wasn't possible on earlier MPCs
@@jimmyl8160 Three reasons. 1) Some people prefer the One layout, screen at top controls below. 2) One+ is lighter and smaller than the Live II. 3) Battery life. My One+ with a power bank will last a lot longer than the 6hrs of a Live II.
@@jimmyl8160 I heard a lot of double trigger problems with the live 2, you must be lucky to get a good unit. People said the one plus is better quality. I want to buy a mpc but those things make me re think.
been using the one+ for 3 weeks love it i learned the work flow in a few hours very easy to use i put of getting one for a long time cause i though learning the workflow would be hard but it was straight forward like the circuit rhythm or the p.o ko33 very simple id advice every one who is thinking of getting one to get it dont be put of with the work flow cause its a walk in the park especially if u already have either daw experience or other sampler synth or groovebox experience
The headphone jack issue is quite underrated, fortunately they added 6,3 mm TRS on the key 37. As for the internal storage, it might come in handy to store plugins and programs, all the common stuff.
MPC Pad Loop function Main page Track 01>Transpose set to 1. Program 001>Warp samples> Global tab>note on. Samples tab>pad loop on. For different drum loops, include them in the same mute group to alternate back and forth
I have the exact same 5 euro Ikea stand. Fits perfectly with the MPC Live 2. Which IMO has a superior layout wit better screen angles compared to the MPC One models.
still, i cannot get why someone tell is "better" than mk3 which have more buttons, and better knobs (8 vs 4), I mean every one who makes music in his studio still using the PC, so I wonder why people prefer this over mk3?
I hated it, sent it back after 2 weeks. It’s a mess of an interface, supposed to be going dawless but it’s just a daw in a box that isn’t very user friendly. Each time I turned it on I’d spend 5mins trying to work out why some setting had changed and had no midi coming through into it.
Lots of useless drum sounds of average quality. If you do 99% MPC one then it's ok, but I do 95% piano and want no time waste on this thing. Just select some style and start playing. There should be some default library with rhytms. Also I miss some AI, first play a song and let this device add drums/base sound. This is no use for most piano players I guess... but it looks impressive.
pretty boring beat yo! anyway MPC is Good for beat but a disaster on synth sound!with weak polyphonies...Roland MC 808 is for sound way superior, the Mpc shine only for sampling and Choping!
How are you gonna show people how to be a better beat maker when you're putting this kind of slop together...Man make some heat to inspire more people to ride with you on your journey bro...think about it 🤔
the one+ is so dope, got me back into producing heavily after years.
SD cards are prone to losing information over time. It's best to keep your samples, etc on the hard drive.
agree, but there's no ssd slot in one or one plus :(

SSDs are nearly as unreliable as SD cards. Back your stuff up to multiple clouds and real slow harddisks.
Great video man good luck. Just got my MPC one this week
oh, congratulations! its a great instrument, great purchase, great investment!
Tip, Do more then sample. Like thats all im seeing is just mostly sampling and the mpc can do much more then that by far

by better - you mean retro edition color?😎
@@MastaKraftprod yes

They went back to their origins of the word “Akai” which means “red” in Japanese
The red looks better in person IMO.
Seems darker than in videos.

Yeah it boots up extremely fast when you hit power in 3 seconds it’s ready to go .
I’m going to get this for Christmas. I am a beginner in this community but have always loved music and creating. Cant wait
had the original mpc one which broke and just ordered the one+ 4 years later. the tutorial is really good, shows the mpc workflow very well

I wish they had put the button layout from the MPC one on the MPC Live 2.
The fact they didn't put a battery in here is literally insane

LOL why would the mpc one plus need a battery? Just get the live 2

What blows my mind is when people that use FL studio say Mpc is hard to work with. lol I came from FL and learning fl was way harder
The beat is banging , super dope .
And thx for the „off-set“ tip 👌🏻👌🏻😌
thanks a lot, man!🤝
you're welcome, offset is rarely used but its great!
That swing sold me on this product!

no no no, plugins can NOT be stored on the internal memory so far. It just doesn't allow you

Akai could of just added Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in the original mpc one they didn’t needed to make a mpc one plus
You say that as if an ota update would've gave the MPC One BT & wifi capabilities! 😂

its faster then the og mpc one ive noticed that
Akai needs to focus more on the Force that’s the best thing they’ve done in years.
The MPC 3 update will sort of turn all MPC’s into a force lol

if everyone liked that crap, Akai wouldn't have started the project of revamping the UI, which has been total garbage since day one
