Definitely one of my best purchases I’ve ever made. It even does pretty good with my 5 string bass plugged in. I definitely would buy more than one of these just because I love this little amp and how useful it is. Just wish the power supply cable wasn’t a separate purchase and it would of been awesome if it had the ability built in to plug in an extra/external speaker cab (not modified to do so)
Its actually a decent sounding little amp. I got mine the other day and I was surprised. I like the fact it is so portable and small. you can take it anywhere and play. Plus it is really small room friendly so you don't upset the neighbors. I am very happy I bought one. I forgot I have seen people say t sounds thin. It doesn't it sounds great for such a small plastic body amp
jgmopar + I got mine yesterday, and I think it's probably the best mini on the market right now I put it up against my blackstar fly3 and the katana mini smokes it! One of the best purchases I have made in awhile and it also takes pedals pretty wel! No drop outs or cut outs
It even handles my 7 string and Baritone. My Blackstar ID core 20 v2 doesn't like the really low end of those guitars. The BOSS handled it just fine. I am really impressed with the little amp. Yeah I ran a bunch of my pedals through it and it does great. Even the old HM-2 set for the Chainsaw sound it worked.
Hey, I'm considering ordering one of these for quick recordings and wanted to know if it's possible to record using the Katana Mini without a mic? Is it possible to connect it to a PC directly via USB? Or will I need an audio interface?
I bought this amp at long and McQuade and it DID come with a power supply, but then again I bought the only one they had and they took it right off the floor without the box or anything, but hey I got a Free power supply.
@@DavidOnTheRoadGuitars I know I've watched that movie many times. I'm saying there's a lot of young adults who know about movies from the 80s and 90s.
I LOVE mine! Can't stop playing with it and can't wait to hear how the record out sounds

I love my Boss Katana Mini
Thing sounds beautiful- bit of a Voxy chime happening. I've got a 100 1x12 and think it's pretty amazing- and I've played Boogies my whole life.

I would say interface, there is no USB out for this. it does have a voiced cabinet record out. Has the 1/8 out for headphones or record out.
Akshay Thapa it has a direct record out with cab simulation the headphone jack so not usb but yes you can record directly out
Nice simple demo. I will buy one based on clean and crunch with delay/reverb. "Brown" not my thing. Thx!

O_O if i dint see it id say you were playing the boss 100 watt version... and it even sounds like a 100 watt amp WTF!!!!
IMA BUY 2
Gak. Greetings from Mars.
I own one. It is an analog powerhouse. Gak.
In all seriousness, great little amp, will get second for stereo. Also, a contrast to my Blackstar Fly.
@@michaelross1339Thank you for sharing your insight! I ordered one today and I'm looking forward to playing with it!
Love this amp. Where can I find that colorful pedal Tshirt?
Is it loud enough to busk?
absolutely and you can mod it with a speaker out on the super cheap if you're a smart kid
skeleton good idea!
Two nerds and no pedals? Matt - we need to hear this with the ungigable pedal board!
Love it! Would you say it's loud enough to play with a live drummer in a jam session with the friends? (not a gig)
Jaime Iniesta no, but the 50w is
With a title like that you know there over 35 years old. Like meeeee.
Not necessarily, I'm 22 and am immersed in all things 70s, 80s, and 90s 🤗

The title is an homage to honey I shrunk the kids, Disney movie.
