@@bilelsicario I think the problem isn't whether Jeff learned his lesson or not, it's that Lucie was willing to involve outside people in a private quarrel. And not strangers, people she'd talked to. And not one or two people, but 20+. And she knew how much this meant to them and how much effort they poured into it. Whatever the hobby, this is red flags a wavin. She ruined a whole group's month due to their own communication breakdown. Them still being together is a BAD outcome for both of them.

I think the betrayal was much more likely because the gf was not playing on the server. If she would have put the same effort into the base she would have understood how much it meant for the builders. As she was not a builder she did not knew the time, the work spent on it so it was easier for her to destroy it.

The true gs know that 2b2t base coordinates have to be kept to oneself. Not even your family or friends should know that stuff it always leaks somehow.
That said: I doubt he told her the coordinates, she could have gotten them from his computer or very easily overheard it from other VC members (location based conversations, planning, etc.)

So basicaly the girlfriend got angry over her boyfriend playing too much of a game and instead of being civil about it, like every other person would prolly be, she leaked the coordinates of the work. I am quite amazed they are still together, this is some pretty extreme betrayal right there. Same level of having someone you trust burn lets say ... an art piece you spend some time on because you didnt spend enough time with them.

On one hand, if your real life relationship is getting strained because of a Minecraft server, you might want to touch grass every now and again. On the other, she completely overreacted in this situation. Literally all of this could have been avoided if both sat down and made a concession between how much time he'd be spending playing video games and how much time he's spending with her. In the video there are arguments, it means that she asked before but he cannot. It will be better if he buy another computer, put it in a fridge with a tons of Barritone. I guess that's why he still stay with her.
How is wanting attention greedy? Most of the comment section are little kids who don't understand relationships. If he keeps up his Minecraft addiction after many arguments, she deserves to be upset. Not this upset, but he is just as bad.

He can build everything on singleplayer with world edit, then use Schematic to copy the structure, put his computer to fridge and run multiple Baritones to do his work while spending time with his girlfriend. The Mu megabase, multiple times bigger than this city be built by one computer put in fridge to run Baritone. Also the city waste the natural landscape by build a platform over the landscape. Its critical for any structures to built with landscape to reduce time cost.

From reading some of the comments, I've seen the following arguments:
- The girl is in the wrong for destroying a lot of work that is really important for her boyfriend. (I Agree)
- The boy is at fault for prioritizing a videogame over their relationship. (I Disagree)
When you have a hobby and you spend a lot of time on it, it doesn't matter if a hobby is digital or physical, all that matters is that the hobby is just as important to you as everything else in your life.
So, for someone else to destroy the work of your hobby just because you didn't give them a lot of attention shows that they disrespect your work and what you're doing.
By doing what she did, she showed her boyfriend that she cannot be trusted and that she doesn't care about his activities, not to mention that she destroyed the work not only of her boyfriend but of a group of like 25 people.
If I was in a situation like this, I would definitely break up with her for the exact reasons stated above.

i think she shouldn't have done that, like she could've left him if she thinks he spends too much time on videogames rather than spending time with her, however leaking the base coords because she thinks he's gonna spend time with her if she does that is just sad.
It's likely not that she thought he'd spend more time with her if she did that, but more so she felt hurt that he wasn't spending time with her and wanted to hurt him back. That's how toxic people are.

I dont know whats more impressive the fact that a 2B2T player has a girlfriend, the fact they were able to pull off the builds then destruction, or the fact the relationship is still going. In high school a stack of diamonds went missing from a kid on the servers house and I was the one blamed. He still hates me and gives me dirty looks if we see each other in public. That was 7-8 years ago.
As a 23-year-old who has been there and done that, the relationship surviving isn’t impressive whatsoever. In fact, it’s par for the course with an abusive, toxic relationship like that one.

It may seem a bit draconian but honestly I'd bar the guy from being in the group for staying with her after that. It was already bad enough that she was willing to take out her frustrations on something that the guy cared about but him deciding to stay with her after she screwed up something that dozens of people, that he has the audacity to call his friends after this, poured days of work into shows that the dude's a doormat and has some serious issues with his self esteem or something. Dude needs to come to terms with the kind of person he's with and the group needs to realize the the guy's a liability at best and more importantly a shitty friend who'll choose to stay with a toxic hag who'd screw over people that aren't involved in their mess of a relationship.
