I am still using it for online classes
It has intel T5670 1.80ghz
And I upgrade it to 3gb (it supports upto 4 ram) but It stucks in chrome(at 100% cpu usage) sometimes and the cpu is worst more than its performance.

I think the reason why it's very slow it because of it's hard drive. I'm using my Acer Travelmate 6292 after I installed a new Windows 7 Ultimate, it feels like a new laptop. The best thing to make a hard drive faster is to reduce the hard disk space in the partition while installing. My Travelmate 6292 has a 1.80GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 and 2GB of ram.

Yeah, that might a limiting factor, although your core 2 duo T7100 will outperform the cpu in this laptop. I do wonder how much difference a bigger hard drive or a ssd will make though

you can upgrade the cpu to core 2 duo

I thought about doing that, but I didnt have any mobile core 2 duos laying around. I might upgrade it in the future, and test it again.

I mean, it's pretty terrible, but maybe it can do some NES emulation or some light retro gaming, idk xD
