- In this video, I'll be testing the HP Pavilion G6-1350sd. This Hp Pavilion G6 released back in 2012 and retailed for around 500 euros. It's the somewhat upgraded version of the HP Pavilion G6 1370sd that I reviewed back in 2021, as this has a dedicated Radeon HD 7450M GPU. In this video, I'll see just how usable this mid-range laptop from 11 years ago still is today!

I have a similar hp machine, I swapped the hdd for an ssd, it has an i3 2130m, an intel hd4000 and 4gb of sodimm ddr3, last year I used it to play darksouls 1, finished the game with a 450p resolution (it was smooth), and now I gave it to my roommate, he played gta v (800×600, shadows disabled)(he played the whole game, not great performance but it was playable).
I was surprised by the performances personally, with the right tweaks to the OS and to the games these pcs can still perform very well!
These laptops are still surprisingly capable! Sandy bridge itself is also a very good perfoming platform, which causes these laptops to not feel like they're 10+ years old already! It's a real shame hp tried a lot of cost cutting measures in this era, I've seen a lot of these laptops with failed hinges
Is windows 11 possible on this thing as i might be getting one soon?

if you want to improve that laptop then i would suggest to install some i7 cpu and 8gb of ram and win 11
Absolutely! I didn't have a i7 laying around so I couldn't upgrade the cpu, but during testing I installed some extra RAM. Does windows 11 provide extra performance over Windows 10?
@@TygoDoesStuff from my experience performance is similiar for both supported and unsupported pcs. In your case i would make a video with win 11 on that laptop because i think there are users who want to know if it's worth installing it or not. Also i think this laptop is more than powerfull enough to run win 11
Can this laptop run gta v ?
It probably could, although definitly not good, the score in heaven matches that of a GT 730, which scores 30fps average on low settings in GTA V, Don't know how much the cpu would be a limiting factor though
