Yeah, HPs are not really known for their cooling solutions. I had a HP OMEN that constantly ran hot. Their DV series of laptops also ran uncomfortably hot, with most cooking either their CPUs or GPUs to death.
Because there is no dedicated GPU, the cooling is fine. But if there was GPU then it may be the problem. Nvidia is not a big problem but AMD/ATI runs very hot.
@@ComputersAndTechAndAndrew There are plenty of NVIDIA configurations I can think of that runs hot, namely mobile fermi and numerous recent Rtx laptops, thats kinda the big drawback with mid to high end laptops in general not just AMD.

The upgrades that I had made were: I replaced the CPU with a more powerful i7- 3630QM, added 4 more gb RAM and i had put a 240 GB SSD, i had replaced the cd drive with a caddy drive where I had placed the 500 gb original HDD for more storage, I had replaced the batery with a 6600 Ah and changed the keyboard. All this cost me around 100 euro (i had the ssd and RAM and bought the CPU from local market - used parts) - now the laptop is revived and works much better. @@smileyface8124 I don't use Windows 11 either. The problem i have is when Windows 10 becomes end of life and doesn't get updates anymore.
@@TheSpotify95it will last a few years, win 7 can still be used and its much older
@@TheSpotify95Windows 11 can run on almost every machine that supports x64 architecture, there's custom version of Windows called Windows Xlite which make a lot of modifications to Windows making it bloatless and use much less ram like 1-1.3GB idle

Where do you store your restored laptops ? Do you return them or keep them ?
Hi bro, mostly I return because these are not mine, I just take, repair, restore, upgrade and return. No point of pile up some tech that will just collect dust around
I'm too old to know that this laptop is considered outdated
You should have replaced your hdd disk with an ssd disk.
So Apple disabled repairs using non-genuine parts. To fix this issue, I crossed over the cleaning process and applied “96 percents isopropyl alcohol.”
greasy stuff, yeah it's annoying but some people leave their laptop with oily, greasy and dust everywhere as long as it turns on
Legends are watching after 1 hour
Can you please tell me you processor upgrade I can to my dell Inspiron n5040
Yeah, My brother had same HP pavilion g6 Specs: i5 2450m + 6gugs of DDR3 (4GB +2GB) +750GB+AMD Radeon 7670m 2GB VRAM. but its died while charging. Luckily I have chance to play GTA 5 Without stuttering and Rendering is slow. That's the only problem
I miss you saying dameged
You mean dam - a - ged?
But this way (damaged) is the correct way, not the way he said it in the older videos.
Why is the machine so problematic?
I was just watching ur psp vid
Hmmmm. An i7 instead of a Pentium, with the same cooling solution? I smell trouble.
why this laptop looks like Dell Inspiron N5110 😅
Sell it for $20
please put windows 11 on this laptop
Your ASMR voice is irritating me IDK Why !! Lmao🤣🤣

Boring.
this is actually useful for people to do, sometimes when laptops need upgrades or repairs you can still get some use out of them instead of buying expensive replacement.
@@TheSpotify95 still boring because is just like the others videos in the channel.
Nothing really interesting.
The old videos are really good.
