Today I'm testing the HP Pavilion DV6-1340ed. Released in 2009, this laptop once upon a time used to cost nearly 800 dollars. Now, in 2023 I managed to pick one up for only $25. Can you use this laptop for some cheap gaming, and what's it like using one in 2023? Let's find out!

I had this model.
I don't remember when I got it as a gift as a kid, maybe around the beginning of 2010? It died in 2014.
Right now I am trying to see if I can fix it.
Still, you could have shown some more... proper games on the laptop. Even if not modern at all, Far Cry 2 ran pretty well when I played on it, and so did many other games, and even some newer, light releases like Dusk and Ultrakill may have run decently.

I still uses the same spec till this day and it still Good for gaming if you pit a unit of External GPU😊

Absolutely! Although the CPU is getting a bit older, it's still plenty powerful making for a decent machine! Glad to hear people still using their dv6's! :D
