@@MakaimuraKiu 32x version was decent but only a notch better than Genesis version and still nowhere near the arcade. If it would of had more tracks like Saturn version it would have some replay value but with only 5(2 new) it got old quick. Sega should have just released the Saturn in 94 with a simplified chipset like PSX but with 4meg ram standard and I think it would have done well if they gave it Virtua Racing 2 with 20 tracks and career mode as a pack-in.
@@MakaimuraKiu yeah. there were several things they did wrong but that would have helped. also quite a few arcade titles were only released in Japan and they should of had more sports/beat em ups/racing games in their library. also 4 or 6 meg ram by default wouldn't of hurt either. Simplified chipset and or better SDK...I could of had a way better launch line up if I ran the company back then. All the best Konami/Capcom/Midway games would have arcade perfect ports. Run and Gun would be a launch title and it would dunk on the PSX's head with authority. Other launch titles they missed out on was Outrunners/Cadillacs Dinosaurs/Golden Axe game/Streets Rage game etc. I would talk Midway into releasing Narc and Smash TV as budget titles. Yeah! We would also make a deal with Midway to get Killer Instinct for holiday 95 with a hard drive that connects to the mpeg slot to stream the backgrounds. Arcade perfect port for 99 bucks! Double yeah!!
I remember getting a 32x with Virtua Racing at launch.... playing it for like a week.... then returning it to Target to get my money back.
I never played the 32x version, I tried the Virtua Racing for Genesis and I liked it. Thanks for your comment!

@@Jolly-Green-Steve Maybe the money and effort invested in 32x and its games should have be invested in Saturn...

Yeah most of these games weren't much better than 16 bit if any better at all. Kind of like the Atari Jaguar
