This is how bus drivers and bus conductors were back in the 1980s as I remember when growing up, and they were English, Asians and West Indians mainly. They took pride in their work as does this driver. He being Muslim should not be the focus of this story.

Had the pleasure to bump onto this driver on the C11 route twice (even a few weeks ago as of this comment). Think he was also informative on intercom as well. An man who loves his job with an passion. Probably not on 214 anymore as Metroline lost that route in an tender.
