How the fuck does anyone watch this for 7-8 hours in one go. This could’ve been a heavily edited 40 min video and that would’ve been fine, instead we get a 3 hour highlight including every forced joke and random interruption to prove a point they’ll quickly forget because it’s hard to keep track of everything.

On the rain thing: more often than not, rain comes from clouds. Heavy rain comes from thick, dark clouds (because that's how density works). So, the chances of it being blindingly white in heavy rain are really low for obvious reasons.

55:50 Part of the reason why I defend a system like Steam is because I find it works much better for reviews from the average person than a number. A critic should put thought into their rating and their rating should be complex as a result. The average viewer has 0 insight to offer because the put 0 thought into it. Thus I prefer them to just give a binary answer... and it seems like it works.
I'm reading a lot of manga and the number scores for those are basically useless. My ratings are generally between 3 and 5 (I generally ignore art. If I was to include it, I would probably bump those scores up by 0 - 2) Average rating for things is between 6 and 10. I''ve seen stuff that has basically nothing happening except fights all day long and people rate it 8+ when my rating is 3/10 because the plot is bending over backwards to make it happen and there's nothing deep about the fights - it's just basic anime tropes.
Also the fact that 6+ is the minmimum score for things that are just gore/porn with a coat of paint
