I had a classmate who had stage 4 brain cancer when I was a freshman in highschool. Till the day he died he kept pushing forward and fought his cancer with a smile on his face. Seeing and hearing someone like Boogie lie about his cancer is a huge slap in the face to those who do and did have cancer along with it being a slap in the face to their families

What I find most amusing about this whole thing is if you watch the meltdown FIRST- and THEN go back and watch the old videos, the way he manipulates people is suddenly really obvious. Everyone missed it before they knew what a liar he is.
And after knowing all this, so many people still give him their money. It’s hard to sympathize for those people sometimes.

That's true. A lot of people noticed and were suspicious of it, but a lot of them didn't think he'd stoop so low as to fake the big C.
When I think of cancer I think about hugging my dad for the last time and thinking he feels like a prop skeleton in a t-shirt. My dad was an old school John Wayne type of guy. When the car broke down he fixed it, house needed a new roof, he did it. Tried to fight him once when I was 15 and to this day I’ve never been hit so hard in my life.
But he was diagnosed with liver cancer and the last 6 months he just kind of faded away. He was only 59

Boogie lying about having cancer makes me so unreasonably angry. I get goosebumps and want to chuck something at a wall every single time. I've lost family members to cancer, but putting that aside, there's something about it that awakens some primal rage within me.
Agreed. It's crazy. I thought I was insulted with Gerard lying about the neurodegenerative diseases charities. This is an absurd step above and beyond that. Stolen valor was something someone said and realizing it's that but somehow a step emotionally beyond that. Literally garbage human.

Same. It was obvious from the start that he never had cancer. The key to fighting it is finding it early. No sane doctor would say "You might have cancer" and then wait 2 years to get a biopsy and actually confirm it. By then the cancer could have grown or spread and could even have become fatal.
The *ONLY* way it could have taken 2 years to confirm is if BOOGIE refused to get the biopsy or other tests. Doctors don't sit on their hands to "Wait and See" unless your doctor got their license off the back of a cereal box.

One can practice for 50 years, if you're practicing the wrong way you'll only be good at doing it the wrong way.
He hasn't "practiced" it as in he has sharpened his skills, many manipulators and compulsive liars are just that: compulsive, it's an urge that they can't control. Boogie is probably one of those unconscious liars, his brain is so fucked that when he tries to guilt trip people, he genuinely thinks he is being attacked, he genuinely thinks he is the victim. His brain is protecting him by putting up walls to normal reasoning.
He is a COMPULSIVE liar, not a manipulator from an intelligent motive. Every time he guilt trips, he probably genuinely believes his lie, his brain pulls up walls to shield itself, it's a desperate behaviour, therefore the holes are obvious.

Literally just say yes. If your doctor said "you have this disease that's a bit like cancer", you can truthfully say yes.
If your doctor said "you definitely don't have cancer", you can truthfully say yes.
I can't believe this guy had a long, successful career of lying to his audience when he's this bad at it.
While he does lie a lot, it seems that at that particular moment he already was considering the fallback plans in case the jig was up, so he was careful about not saying *direct* lies like that. So he didnt want to say that his doctor directly said "cancer" in case he would have to deflect later.
I've heard that liers tend to over describe things. They can't just say yes or no.

But now he's been backed into a corner over and over again. And every back up brings a new detail that's inconsistent with the rest close enough together to remember the other back ups

If his doctor said he MAY have cancer, they wouldn't have waited two years to do a biopsy to confirm it. By then the cancer could have grown and become fatal. The key to cancer is catching it early. If something might be cancer, they confirm it as soon as possible to start treatment as soon as possible. I also don't think doctors say you might have cancer and then give medication just in case. They might give you medication to relieve symptoms caused by the cancer (pain, trouble breathing, etc) to hold you over for a couple days until you go back for more tests and/or a biopsy.
The only way it took two years to get the biopsy is if Boogie refused to get it.
I had uti like symptoms but there was no bacteria found in the sample so my GP has referred me to CT scan and cystoscopy just to make sure my back pain and that non-uti isnt kidney or bladder cancer. Both my appointments are within 1.5months of the first apperence of blood urine and will definitely prove if cancer is present. Time is of the essence so the simple fact Boogie claims his doctor didnt demand he do the biopsy proves his lie by itself. It needs to be proven and be on file if he has the cancer type since it means he will need more checkups and be a higher priority than those plebs with normal high blood cell count.

I've read about rape PTSD. I haven't talked to anyone who has been raped. But I don't believe this is the behavior of someone who was sexually assaulted, many years after the fact. People cope with PTSD in different ways. One of the reasons - or the reason, idk - why PTSD is awful is being in the victim mindset, the aim is to heal and move on. Not to try to stay in it and flaunt it to the world. Boogie's message is clearly "bad things happened to me, so let me get away with this." It's ghoulish. It's as cynical as playing the Jesus card. Nice to see destiny appealing to empathy about cancer patients, though I’m sure if they’re conservatives he feels differently. He’s right about boogie but he’s a complete dirt bag as well.
Jackson Clarke is also confused as to why he keeps being brought up, he thinks Boogie thinks him and MoistCritikal are the same person (because they do some Podcasts together) and Moist called him out at one point.
Yeah he's confused but he DID tweet he didn't believe it or they should have proof and Boogie early on blew up on it to "stop" it. About 4-5 years now I went to the ER because of the pain 2 ulcers I didn't know I had were causing me pain. It led to a series of events that led to an EGD and a diagnosis of Barret's Esophagus. It is a precancerous diagnosis so i was put on treatments to help slow the formation of cancer.
So I could see what a normal person would have done in Darth Boogies position. But also I got a second EGD done about a year and a half ago and the doctor now thinks it is just allergies in my Esophagus...
Turns out, according to the doctor that did the procedure, that if there is a diagnosis that points to cancer, then doctors will pull that trigger for prevention.
Feels good knowing I don't have cancer most likely. But spending a lot of money on tests I really didn't need sucks.
Having cancer was the only thing that gave him joy in life.
