I'm still waiting the day the band or the dd fan club release the Vh1 storytellers live cd, i have the dvd, but needs better quality audio, since i love how Warren Cuccurrulo's Guitar plays Pop Trash Movie at the end of the song.
I've been into Duran Duran since 1981 and Warren Cuccurollo was the best thing that happened to them. He gave them a harder edge and there was some great material he was largely responsible for. Kicking him out and replacing him with Andy Taylor was a mistake. Andy was not exactly a stabilising effect on the rest. And the "Astronaut" reunion looked good on paper but it didn't last. And now they're having to rely on session guitarists instead of a vibrant full time member. Warren you're MISSED!
Totally agree with the comments here. I maintain if Ordinary World hadn't come out when it did, Duran could possibly have been resigned to a band that would have struggled to find their feet in the music industry even again. His contribution was immense. As far as I'm concerned, from a fan's perspective he is sorely missed. He leaves a long lasting legacy though. Of that, I have absolutely no doubt !!!
I learned everything I know about playing and recording electric guitar from watching and listening to Warren Cuccurullo and Daniel Ash. I don't think I would've come up with some of my best tracks if it hadn't been for those two guy's influence. Saying that Warren is missed in Duran Duran is an understatement.
It is the kind of things that defines our way,our shape, our sensitivity, our way of accepting things,,, Maybe Duran Duran express what our hearts often fails to do so, it succeeds with a chord... or poetry. But ... I prefer to think .. It´s about the great passion for music. This song moves me. And also it´s very moving to think that Duran Duran is on my side since I was 11 years old. Thank you Duran Duran for making me feel so happy... when your music sounds.

I agree to an extent, but that session musician, Dom Brown, is doing an excellent job with them and even helped write most of the songs on AYNIN (an arguably MUCH better album than Astronaut). I like Warren artistically and it would be interesting to see if he ever does do anything with DD again. TWA was my introduction to DD and I give him all due credit for being part of what made me a fan in the first place. Though, TV Mania still makes me scratch my head.
You're mostly right, but I think you're confusing the time periods a little here. Come Undone was written for the Wedding Album in '93. Simons writer's block etc.. was after John left in '97. Sure, it's well known that John didn't do the bass for the recording of CU, but he was still a part of the band. And though Simon wrote the lyrics for Yasmin's birthday, Warren IS credited with writing the instrumentation for it.
Thank you for posting this! I was told that the album "Pop Trash" was a piece of shite album- so I didn't buy it. But,thanks to RUclips and users like 7thStranger, I actually get to hear the music and decide for myself. Also, I love watching Nick play his synth ^_^ LOL Much luffs to Duran Duran (even if only two members are present *pout*) MeOw!
I believe the core band started in 1978. When the first album, the first single was released, great question. It is a great gem, but it is a left field shot for D2. Never heard it, but I like it 👌
I never understand why they didn’t go back to Warren. Dom Brown doesn’t have a style. He’s a technically proficient session musician. Warren is an artist.
Nintendo Psycho - As I understand it, AYNIN was “supposed” to be that album that would slot in between Rio and 7ATRT. Great album. Ironically, another artist with the Ronson surname influenced a young John & Nick when they were first hanging out as mates.
Warren is alt right? More power to him! Can't stand this leftist antifa scum myself. TRUMP 2020! Anyway, back to the subject: DD really need to replace their current dull session player Dom Brown. Nice chap, no doubt. But no personality whatsoever. Bring back Warren (or Andy) for that important rock edge. Makes such a big difference, especially live.
@ptmario Sorry, but no... Warren did not write "Come Umdone". There were a lot of songs around this period that *were* wtitten by Nick and/or Warren... but "Come Undone" was one of the few that Simon did write. Yes, he was having problems with depression and writers block at this time (he was missing John badly) but "Come Undone" was written ny Simon for Yasmin as a birthday gift... lovely song...
@TradaBoy i cant beleive they actually fired him haha. if andy didnt come back warren would proberly would be still in the band today. i prefer andy though
You can defentiltly hear that Jonh isn't playing the bass. No soul in this rithem section sorry. And i am a big duraniefan btw! and will remain to be one but still........... i miss John here
No way...Simon seems to be struggling with the vocals on this one and it sounds terrible. This song was meant for blondie...the better band and the band who did this song justice even as a demo.
Warren is fantastic!!!
only warren can play the right way all this awesome songs ... i love this song , miss you warren

Warren was fired
German Soler The band without warren is nothing..Warren Gave Everything in the worst moment

Warren breathed life back into the band and saved their arse!

By far the most underrated DD album ever. Why isn't Pop Trash available on Spotify?
John Taylor
Now it is! :D
Released again on cd last year
In a very cheap way.@@rockabilly375
Simon's voice is PERFECT here.
Warren is such an incredible guitarist. Love to see him rejoin D2

Estupenda y fantástica y potente voz de Simon Le Bon
Duran Duran is the Greatest band of all time!
Duran is a beast, I can't forgive them for dropping Warren
right on . Stumbled on this song recently. 20 years late but... Great tune!
Nossa estou redescobrindo o Duran Duran através destas incríveis músicas menos conhecidas e o Warren só acrescenta 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌
ESSE ÁLBUM POP TRASH É MUITO BOM.
i love so much this song !! i love pop trash album . i love DD ! thanks so much warren you are the best
Fantastic underrated album and brilliant tour

Qué canción más bella y hermosa. Es una oda al rock.

We star in every scene. And it's not quite what is seems!
I hope they play this at my funeral. Fucxing brilliance.

Amazing one of the best song of DD I love it!!
Grande duran duran😀
Beautiful song. I love you.

he is the man!!!
Warren's last album with DD. Not coincidentally their last great album.
Duran Duran sound great,They been their, and if you listen the music has soul.
Back when the band had balls.
Nintendo Psycho Yeap
and when there was a Warren Cuccurollo dildo in the stores....
foda disco foda
I never understand why they didn’t go back to Warren. Dom Brown doesn’t have a style. He’s a technically proficient session musician. Warren is an artist.
This is great :D
BRING BACK WAZZA! WE WANT WAZZA!
I remember this Storytellers concert, I saw it live on VH1, do you have a video Come Undone from that concert ?
Very cool!!
DD at their best
Of the 13,713 views of this video, I am prolly 25% of it.
quiero la version de Blondie.
warren was always a good fit in my opinion.
@drylaundry Thank god for Mark Ronson, he made the duransound re-appear..including the funky bassline!
In retrospect it was the trend to sound "80's-like". It was the indie thing to do so it wasn't 100% DD going back to their roots.
Nintendo Psycho - As I understand it, AYNIN was “supposed” to be that album that would slot in between Rio and 7ATRT. Great album. Ironically, another artist with the Ronson surname influenced a young John & Nick when they were first hanging out as mates.
I'm responsible for 10,000 of these views.
Warren needs to be rescued from the alt right first
Warren is alt right? More power to him! Can't stand this leftist antifa scum myself. TRUMP 2020! Anyway, back to the subject: DD really need to replace their current dull session player Dom Brown. Nice chap, no doubt. But no personality whatsoever. Bring back Warren (or Andy) for that important rock edge. Makes such a big difference, especially live.
"Alt right" to you means conservative to people with a brain. Glad Warren got his politics right. Trump thru Jan 2025.
DD and a little Trump love! Is this Heaven?
@@rumrnr78 haha, like!
Nick is an ego maniac and too cheap to have a 5th member again. Also, Trump is trash.@@vincelewis1009

couldn't agree more with peterkin1010, warren was awesome, biggest mistake ever from the band.
I so keep hoping that Warren might reappear in DD since TV Mania is releasing their album in March.
Could they be any more Oasis...
But Duran Duran sang this song better!)
@heksje69 yeah..I think that's the big part why this album is ..well.. not good.
I'm a huge DD fan and this album is flat, almost dragging
Pop puedes enontrar por todos lados. El rock, solo lo saben disfrutar los verdaderos hombres.
No way...Simon seems to be struggling with the vocals on this one and it sounds terrible. This song was meant for blondie...the better band and the band who did this song justice even as a demo.
The lady at 4:05 doing lip synch is annoying. Not even pretty to gaze at but was trying to get attn
