Quite right. It's the kind of music I'd like to hear in their love gigs instead of mostly '80s radio hits We're missing out on masterpieces written in the 2000s :(
It seems their more recent songs are better live than they are on the album. When they're allowed to do their thing they're amazing, but when they have too many cooks in the kitchen with them it kind of ruins what makes them so great.
Completely agree, would love to hear Paper Gods with ''real'' drums and no bass synth, the whole heart and soul of DD is their rhythm section. Nobody ever questioned their songwriting.
I can honestly say I've been down & I'm still traveling this road that they are singing about. I love these guys May May Lord Savoir Jesus be with with them always
I grew up on these guys. I got my first kiss in 6th grade when I gave my "girlfriend" a cassette of Seven and the Ragged Tiger for her birthday in 1983! LOL! Good times! I read Janet Jackson is in the hall of fame but not these guys? WTF? Listen to this version of The Valley and tell me this isn't Rock and Roll! If they dont make it in there in my life time the world of music is truly a sad place!
Such a great, underrated song. Hey, guys, please, please do a concert with a full orchestra some time. Duran music was just made for that epic sound. This would be an amazing opener 👍
I have listened to DD since 82. I always enjoyed the Bass funk like Sound of Thunder,Rio,New Moon, And The Entire Notorious project which by the way, I was blessed to see them in 88. The Valley. From 88 on, I wanted to hear John's dominate funk,Nick's smooth intricacies, Nile Rodgers Chic guitar and Simon's Bowiesque lyrics. Anyone? That is The perfect Sound
Roger Taylor toca esos tambora sensacional mente Andy guaooo John dios mio nick guaooooo simonnnnnnn dios los bendiga por llevar tanta alegría a nivel mundial 😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍👍
Definitely can still hear Peter's singing style during the AI Phil section. Would be interested to hear Peter singing songs from Calling All Stations, as that's what they were looking for in having Ray Wilson on vocals. Although a duet of Dancing on a Volcano or In The Cage would be interesting to hear. Also doing one of their solo career songs as a Genesis duet.
@@richardjeffreys2437 LOL. I don't even remember leaving that comment so long ago. Still agree with it though and it is still one of my favorite songs of theirs. Even better live. Have a great one!
This is truly fabulous and far better than than the album version which I like. The problem is the guitar is almost missing on album as is energy the energy.
Fucking cool,I love the beat, rcm has something to revisit, the band sound's great, love the highlites, control, speed, getting a A+,THIS IS FROM the core boyz, keep it hard
Another great, neglected DD song. It craves a much bigger production, though. Hey! Why don’t they do a symphonic album like Sting or George Michael. I think it would suit their songs perfectly - so many of them have such grandeur…
This song is a masterpiece IMO.
one of only three songs i still go back to from rcm
To be honest, I much prefer this live version than the studio recording. It sounds more like Duran Duran. Nice!
Our RT is an amazing drummer! So tight and sharp on time... The perfect combination with our JT!
❤ Roger
I Just LOVE this song! John's bass solo drives me wild ;)
Quite right. It's the kind of music I'd like to hear in their love gigs instead of mostly '80s radio hits
We're missing out on masterpieces written in the 2000s :(
Doms Electric Guitar was better
absolute control, absolute power, flawless performance roger plays awsome in this
god John Taylor is endlessly, eternally divine. Look at him go....xxxxxx
Perfect comment!
One of their all time best songs. Damn they're hot when they're jammin' like this!! John is killing it. :DD
So was Doms Electric Guitar
Molto più bella in questa versione live...canzone molto molto sottovalutata..per me una delle loro più belle in assoluto!!
Dom is so underrated, too. All people seem to care about is when Andy was there, but Dom has been with them longer.
A very slept on Duran Duran album Red Carpet Massacre was awesome and this is my favorite tune from that album.
I love this song.RCM was severely underrated!!
Wow what a great mix of vocals, instruments, synth this band really deserves a lot more contemporary respect
This song changed my world. On so many levels. It's reality biting. But so uplifting at the same time.
my goodness...
1) such good quality
2) they sound SO GOOD even after all this time!
Duran Duran got better in the 2000s
Great guitar part from Dom.
He rocks the track.
John's bass part is so awesome.
So is Doms Electric Guitar
Hugely underrated DD song, and indeed album (RCM) too. Love this song. And a great performance. 😎👍
Completely agree!!!!
I love Simon singing broken dream in Italy. Just shows what a brilliant singer he is. 😚
Red carpet masacre needs urgent a proper live version. The songs shine much more than the album.
Pablo Santander great idea!!
YES
This is like their modern day Reflex 2.0 I have no idea what the hell Simon is singing about but I love it all in abstract and you can dance to it.
This song really sounds much better live than the album version
AMAZING...THEY REALLY KICKED INTO GEAR FROM 2:42 TO THE END..I LOVE DURAN DURAN!
This is epic! Do my eyes deceive me or is JT actually playing keyboards too??? Fab!!! 😎😎
One of their best song ever. And this live performance is AMAZING!
Nobody ever questioned their songwriting.
everybody just killing it, absolutely brilliant!
Classic Duran song 👌 I love it
This song live is awesome. D2 at their best.. .
I can honestly say I've been down & I'm still traveling this road that they are singing about. I love these guys May May Lord Savoir Jesus be with with them always
Duran Duran es profesionalismo total la mejor música del mundo bellos increíbles y fenomenales simonnnnnnnn belloooooo😍😍😘😘👍👍👌👌👌👌💋💋💋💋😍😍😍😍😍

This song is amazing. RCM is so weird. I either love the songs or hate the songs. This is a CLEAR winner.
This live is better than the album studio version
I agree, the studio version is way over mixed and lacks some energy, the live version has much more pop to it.
RGS Columbia Very true. But no secret they kick ass live, right?
it s true!! exact
Marco Kingstons 😎
Even Better than the studio version, that Is also brilliant
Such a great, underrated song. Hey, guys, please, please do a concert with a full orchestra some time. Duran music was just made for that epic sound. This would be an amazing opener 👍
style, class and good taste in other words duran duran...greets from antwerp belgium!
love the bass solo...
Great Duran Duran jam here. You guys can play and John totally awesome!
So is Doms Electric Guitar
Great Roger!!
Fantastic version of this! One of my fave DD tracks.
I have listened to DD since 82. I always enjoyed the Bass funk like Sound of Thunder,Rio,New Moon, And The Entire Notorious project which by the way, I was blessed to see them in 88. The Valley. So energetic and well played!
Love John on the keyboard
Love this version! Wish we could hear it again on the next tour!
INcredible.....they have to be really dialed-IN to play with such intensity....such great musicianship and flawless vocals too
Fantastic as usual!
I believe, yes a need, I love Duran Duran 🇧🇷🇫🇴
in my opinion their best album
It is pretty good but it was highly underrated by their own hard core fans imagine that .
I hate It...De gustibus...
@@lebby4ever Yes except for this song!
John and Dom make the difference here.
Love it
just had to say' I think this is great !!!
wow how cool is that:) john on keyboards cool:)
This is so good, come back to Australia!
John Taylor at the synths? I think he wants to help Nick a little bit ^_^...and the slapping bass technique is just *BRILLIANT* . good work! :D
I like that! Even theres a little difficulty in the part of Roger..i watched the whole part of that video.
One of my fave tracks from Red Carpet Massacre.
John can slap me around anytime lol.
Nickrhodes littledarling absolutely beautiful and brilliant
Nickrhodes littledarling 😎😎
Much better than the studio version
私もこの曲が大好きです‼️
Roger Taylor toca esos tambora sensacional mente Andy guaooo John dios mio nick guaooooo simonnnnnnn dios los bendiga por llevar tanta alegría a nivel mundial 😍😍😍😍👍👍👍👍👍
I really like this song. in fact I love RCM. it's pop + hip hop!
Much better live than the album track...Top Live Band
John Taylor is the fucking nuts!
Anna Ross.. WOW! x
omg i like this a lot
Amazing!!!!!!
Fantastic! I love that beat, too. Greetings from a German Duran fan...
Definitely can still hear Peter's singing style during the AI Phil section.

Although a duet of Dancing on a Volcano or In The Cage would be interesting to hear.
Also doing one of their solo career songs as a Genesis duet.
John Taylors Bass and Dom Browns guitar makes this song so amazing....the live-version sounds much better then the rcm-version....great tune!!!
Numeri uno !!!
This totally kicks ass from the 2:01 minute mark.
Absolutely eargasm
DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Très chou ton français ;-) et c'est vrai, la chanson est magnifique.
oh my my so much better than on the album :-) FAB
Great song that exhibited everyone's talent in the band from the singing to the drums to bass to synth and guitar.
11 years late but.. I AGREE!! x
@@richardjeffreys2437 LOL. I don't even remember leaving that comment so long ago. Still agree with it though and it is still one of my favorite songs of theirs. Even better live. Have a great one!
@@IamMarqaos You too :-)
There are bands that do not perform well live. Duran Duran is not one of them. Their sound is great in the studio and in live performances.
This is truly fabulous and far better than than the album version which I like. The problem is the guitar is almost missing on album as is energy the energy.
Masterpiece!
Good live or studio. Up there with anyone
Great song!!!
Fucking cool,I love the beat, rcm has something to revisit, the band sound's great, love the highlites, control, speed, getting a A+,THIS IS FROM the core boyz, keep it hard
All I have to say is JT is a genius!

thank you DD !!! :)
sempre i numeri uno!
I love this band so much! John and Roger (sigh) lolol
Preach, SImon, Preach!
Love it!!!! :)
play that f*ckin' bass (synth) John!
And Dom
excellent better than album red carpet
Danke!
She was....! x
Since when John became a keyboardist? Looking forward to hear Roger singing then :D
He's learned on his own like bass guitar. That's why he's a genius. He never needed a teacher. He's self taught.
Great song.Should have benefited from different arrangements!!!
Unbelievable
A chi sosteneva che erano una boy band...
I nice reminder that a John is totally competent keyboard player except from top bassist.
Why does Johnny use the synthesizer?
1 of only a few decent songs on the rcm album .
Another great, neglected DD song. It craves a much bigger production, though. Hey! Why don’t they do a symphonic album like Sting or George Michael. I think it would suit their songs perfectly - so many of them have such grandeur…
Red carpet
The guitar is so dark.
simon get too fat? he´s perfect... his look is much better of his age-average....
No never for fat. Leave him alone
What JT is playing on the keyboard
Is too complex for nick
Jt's the Man
