21 years old, first field service job (chemical process) driving a Buick Riveria around the Midwest US... This was my mantra: my theme; driving though Midwest storms, fixing machinery, mountain bike on the back, OH THE FUCKING POSSIBILITIES. 40 years later, I still man-crush on John (Nigel) Taylor.
Duran Duran is a great band with staying power. My sister loved them, I thought it was a flash in the pan. Wrong. Quality for six decades now, I think now?
thank you for the higher quality vid - this live performance kicks some serious butt. It's incredible - everyone sounds great (John is killing the bass!), Nick and Roger are fantastic, and Simon is on point with his vocals. Like the guitar guy's playing as well.
nicks work was all done in the studio, when midi came good, his job live must be a lot easier,im not knocking him,hes a synth genius..but his job has to be stress free compared ,it must have been a nightmare pre midi. n decent computers....so he deserves to take it easy ! xxx
midi gave presets which for us old school players it doesn't matter, old school synth's are not a problem for Nick, he utilized sequencers and could arpeggiate without a problem, quite masterfully.. nicks Magnum opus save a prayer and the fact that he could write music phenomenally well
@@AJ17_ Strange. I also wonder why Warren was not recalled when Andy left. I wonder if bad blood exists, but Warren seems to have a fondness for his DD days. So hard to say. I did ask on his Facebook page, and no response. And his FB page is really small for his caliber of celebrity.

Dom Brown is a dead ringer for Andy's style. I am wondering why he has not been named a permanent member.
They've asked him multiple times and Dom has turned them down, saying he doesn't want to be "that guy".
