In addition to school she got also vocal training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program (I read, that this school said, they couldn't teach her more stuff because she has all learned what she could learn in this school ;-) ) - and btw. she plays also grand piano, violin, flute and guitar, make her arrangements herself, wrote a book, sew clothes for herself (partly with art from her grandma like in her first AGT performance and in her music video "Shield").
So she is a real all-rounder and I think all her fans are eager to see and hear what she is doing next...

She is using a Neumann TLM microphone. She was originally given a TLM102 as a 12th birthday gift, but I understand that is a TLM103 and may be an upgrade or borrowed.

Marie many thanks for reacting again to our barefoot princess, Angelina Jordan. Who but Angelina would think of doing a jazzy version of Billie Jean? Angelina's book, "Between Two Hearts" tells the story of her encounter with an orphan girl in the Middle East when she was 6 and is the reason why she performs barefoot.
At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.

Hi French, loved your reaction! If you are curious, in one of Angelina's TikTok videos from about 6-8 weeks ago, she is singing while walking through these sets in the background. You see the yellow, purple and red sets here, and the orange set in her "Yesterday" video. There are 2 more sets that we haven't seen yet, a blue one and a green one. Maybe another video coming from her soon? I hope so.

Marie, her book is about why she don´t wear shoes when performing. I bought the english download and the book is shaking me to my toes. How can a 6 year old write like this (the text is from her diaries, the pictures are from her grandma). she published it when 9 years old. The proceeds of her shop in parts to charities. So unique sounding , Billy jeans such a iconic song and few would dare to follow, but she creates her own style and makes it seem easy, I wonder how she learnt to sing in American and does she have a strong Norwegian accent. Angeline reminds me a lot of Amy Winehouse. The sound of her voice, the way she phrases the words of a song and that little bit of raspiness in her voice! Amy Winehouse is no longer with us, but she will always be remembered as an exceptional vocalist and musician! Search up Amy Winehouse and listen to some of her songs( which many of her songs she wrote herself!) Angeline sounds like Any Winehouse to me!
Amy is one of Angelina's idols since she was like 7 or 8. She even has a picture of her standing next to a statue of Amy. Angelina has covered Valerie, Back to Black, Rehab, I'm No Good and Our Day Will Come. all are when she was 12 or under and Back to black and rehab she changed the lyrics for age appropriateness.

This is a great example of different tastes, because although I'm not a real big fan of this jazzy version of Billie Jean, (even though I am a huge fan of Angelina) I'm not at all excited about Chris Cornell's acoustic version.

I really hated this version...too much ad-libs and unusual inflections. Yawn. Just my opinion. I have liked other AJ performances but NOT this one.
