Sweetness, emotion, soul, love, are all ingredients absolutely present in her voice, Angelina uniquely embodies the charm of naturalness, she is an inexhaustible source of musical poetry, regardless of the genre and style she interprets. I loved that Angelina made this rendition very sweet, slow and moving but also so powerful, she manages to sink us into the song in an even deeper way than Michael's original. I love very much her stripped versions of the classic songs that she chooses, she always takes you to listen to almost forgotten songs, even if they are very beautiful.💛🧡❤
AJ's cover of "Yesterday" is also amazing. I knew the lyrics but never felt the lyrics until Angelina performed the iconic Beatles song. I could name a lot more as well.
Agreed. Most 'pop' music is designed to sit in the background of our lives and not ruffle any individual creativity. Angelina gives us authentic soulful music to enliven us.

How could a 15-year-old with little (as far as I know) formal musical training create such an audacious arrangement of a monster song by MJ and then slay it vocally? Impossible! 😱 There is only one Angelina Jordan . . . 🙏
Hey Barry, yes I understand you, BUT as I learned, she is self-taught, but visited the musicacademies of Oslo and later on LA, for technical advise, here she also learned, how to work in a sound booth. But aside from that YES, there is only ONE Angelina.

@@Veggamattic Todd, I was referring to her skilled arranging ability which often does go with formal training. I do know that in Oslo she was introduced to the concept of how to rearrange a cover in school.
@@BarrySowder I see...her arranging skill might even be better than her vocals...which almost makes my head explode. I am autistic and was born with a few elite math gifts that I was never taught, so I totally get what it's like to just have skills that almost seem to easy to be true. Some teaching sometimes help with the intellectual periphery though.
