Angelina just loves to sing, and we just love to listen to her. I get the feeling that Angelina sings all day long!
There is a TikTok video of Angelina singing a lullaby (“Heaven”) to her cousin Athena. Her head is nestled underneath Angelina’s chin, against her chest. Can you even imagine the angelic sounds vibrating through this dear child as she sleeps? ❤️

It's like she takes an old warn-out favourite toy and gives it new life , so you can fall in love with it all over again. It gets better every time you hear it.
I'm 67 years old, and I was never a big fan of the Beatles in the 60s and 70s, but I could become a fan of their songs with this young lady singing them. Maybe I should say a fan of Angelina's versions of their songs, because she has done that to me with several other artists.

@@markmclendon8621, She's good, from what I've seen, but I just don't get in to single instruments. I get bored listening to them too quickly. For instance the fingerstyle guitar player Alif ba ta, that everyone seems to be reacting to, I think that is his name, he's good, but he can't hold my interest for long. Angelina, I could listen to her sing all day, and most days I do. 😊Of all the playlists here on my channel, 24 deal with music. Only one has no singing, and that one is The London Philharmonic Orchestra doing Pink Floyd songs. I can slip on the headphones and just lay back and get lost in it. But then, that isn't just on instrument either. 😁 Oh, and of those 24 playlists, three of them are dedicated to Angelina.
@@AJfanboy1 you are obviously a music lover as am I.....collaborative efforts are the best (i long had season tickets to the Atlanta Sym and have sung in choirs in the National Cathedral ) but their are guitar players like Tommy Emmanuel who ply multiple parts simultaneously or singers like Geoff Castalucci who through over dubbing sings multiple parts.....and singer/guitar players like Eva Cassidy (rip) who are simply mesmerizing luckily i take prescription medication that obviates the need for earphones but i do effectively zone out.....try Felix Irwan, great singer/guitar player from Indonesia with a country twang at times

Hi Marie, your comment about "if I had her voice I would sing all day" makes me think....... I think you should record yourself singing and post it for us. I bet you have a better voice than you might think. Music is emotion, and you always have such really cool emotional reactions to these videos. So put that emotion into any easy song that you might know and post it for us. I'm guessing it would be pretty cool.

Angelina even did another Beatles-song. She sang "Here Comes The Sun" during a charity TV show raising money to help and support refugee children around the world. A very nice video was made and integrated in Angelina`s performance. Highly recomandabel for a reaction. Angelina was 10 at the time.

The performances where she's just accompanied by a single instrument, either piano or guitar, are my favorites. Her voice absolutely doesn't need more assist.

While Lennon/McCartney are deservedly widely regarded as among the best pop/rock composers, this song was pretty much all Sir Paul's. John expressed indifference (at best) about it, & was probably resentful of it's success ; he used to refer to some of McCartney songs as, " granny music". Their competiveness helped to produce some of the best songs of that genre
@@teddtarr Not just that genre.....There was an academic review, some years ago, where some of the world's leading music scholars were asked to rank those composers who had written what was determined to be "great songs". First, with the most, was Bach ; second was Mozart; third was Lennon and McCartney.

Forget to add, I only mentioned what's going in on Louisiana as you mentioned Hurricane Ida in the Angelina Jordan video.
Yesterday is the most recorded and covered song in history. Paul basically wrote the tune in his sleep. Given the working title of "Scrambled Eggs" he took it to everyone he knew at the time and played it for them, thinking he may have accidentally plagiarized it because it came so easily. Similarly, in the later sixties, he had a dream about his mother, Mary, telling him to not worry and to just let it be. He woke up and started working on the song, Let It Be. Paul and Ringo are still alive. John was shot by an insane fan in 1980 outside of his home, The Dakota, in New York City. George died of cancer in 2001.
A comment I saw recently (I don't follow any social media for updates) said that she is doing shows in France and Belgium early next year...(sold out) Any others or confirmation?
Your comment is correct as far as I know. She also has two concerts which were postponed this past July in Norway rescheduled to next July in Norway.

Remember, she was not only lauded by Queen, but Sir Elton John, so it was written, thanked her for "dusting off and give fresh live" to his song "yellow brick road". The last member of the Mamas & the Papas did the same, Marc Ronson, who managed Amy Winehouse and works with Miley Cyrus, sent her a original tape, to sing. Two composers asked her to sing songs especially written for her. When you are invited at 11 of age to sing before Nora Jones, invited by Nora, when you, at age 10 are invited by one of the most successful DJs, Alan Walker, than I think you are truly respected. And a duet with Sir Paul McCartney is not so phantastic as some think. Sir Paul is known for his sense of humor and his respect for good vocalists. Deary, please stay save and sound with your family. Mery is Iranian and her husband was Japanese, Angelina's dad is Norwegian! I don't know but am guessing Angelina has enough original songs completed for at least one album and likely two albums. We are waiting for her family to decide she is old enough and completed enough years of school, that they will tell Republic Records to begin to promote her. Angelina does have concerts, already sold out, next February and March in small venues in France and Belgium. We hope an album will be released before those concerts. CONGRATS on 50k subscribers!!

Excellent rendition although I still prefer Paul Mccartney's performance, not necessarily the recorded version. I prefer his performance of this song when he does it with only the guitar accompaniment.
