  • I had the pleasure of speaking to Helene from Wandering French.
In this video, she tells us about her traveling experience around the world, teaching English in South Korea, and becoming an online teacher of French Quebecois.
In this video, we talk about:
    1. Helene's RUclips channel
    2. The difference between spoken and written French
    3. Helene's passion for providing travel vlogs
    4. The education system in Korea
    5. Techniques and tools to improve language learning
Helene is a French teacher with over 20 years of experience, and she creates RUclips videos to provide French comprehensible input for her students and other learners around the world. She aims to provide content that's easy to understand with French and English subtitles to all her videos. According to Dr. Krashen's theory of second language acquisition, if you listen to stuff that's easy enough and interesting for you, it allows you to learn French in a fun and effective way.

thanks for a great interview. It was nice to hear the importance of understanding....and then speaking. I feel so impatient with myself in the speaking dept. when actually I have reached so many milestones in 'the language' journey
