Man, Supertramp has so amazing sax solos. I would like Don't leave me now
Good stuff been wanting to learn sax so bad I’m 22 and plan on buying one and replicating every super tramp song I grew up on … 👌🏻👌🏻
🙏 just do it, it’s never too late
Pezzi stupendi. Prova ad ascoltare “ Notte che se ne va”- Pino Daniele- sax J. Senese. Sei bravissimo.
Thanks Dan, a very powerfull selection of solos!! In adition, played with a great sound and spirit, thanks again to share your great talent!!!

Loved that man!! Sweet growly tones and old nostalgic tuens that get me all choked up Lol (But Im serious). Super cool!!
Wow, starki Sach ! Chapeau ;-)
Great stuff Dan. Some interesting solos that don’t come up that much and well played too.
Man , what mouthpiece do you use for those rock and roll solos , OMG 😱🔥
Mouthpiece on Tenor is a Bobby Dukoff D*6 and on Alto a Dukoff D7. Depending on sound and style I also play Syos mouthpiece. Currently I use Fibracell reeds 3 or 3.5 on both saxes.
Great man just great. BTW are you on tenor?
cool
Sehr sehr geil... danke Dani!
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! HOLY FUCK!!!!!!!! WHAT A PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!
What happened to Junior Walker and the All Stars. One of the best Sax players of all times
Awesome video man ! thanks for sharing
Loved the fact you included Jon Helliwell twice in your selections. Supertramp was really the first to allow their great musicians to shine.
tx, yes, I love Suportramp, and John Helliwell has always been an inspiration to me on how to use sax & clarinet in pop and rock music.
Great choices! A little disappointed that the great Phil Kenzie's work in the Al Stewart songs weren't mentioned tho. Especially in his song
Song on the radio, and Year of the cat.
thank you and yes, “Song On The Radio” would be definitely one for a possible part II
Oooosh !!! Freaking AWESOME 🔥💯🔥 Subscribed.
You left two of all-time best. Al Garth's solos from Angry Eyes and Move on, both by Loggins and Messina.
yes, but there are so many great solos, maybe in a next video
Maravilloso 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
In Spain says ole, ole, ole!!!
Is there sheet music available for these and more solos?
I haven't but there are other channels like one of my favorites from Jamie Anderson "GetYourSaxTogether"
Great stuff brother! What kinda stepup you got there (sax/mp)? Great tone!
Many thanks, both saxophones are Selmer Super Action 80 Serie II. I have been playing both saxes for more then 30 years. Mouthpiece on Tenor is a Bobby Dukoff D*6 and on Alto a Dukoff D7. Depending on sound and style I also play Vandoren Jumbo A45 on the Alto. Supertramp "Give a little bit" has been recorded with Vandoren, the "Logical Song" with Dukoff. Currently I use Fibracell reeds 3 or 3.5 on both saxes.
Just missed Dick Parry in Pink Floyd
Why no "Tequilla?"
Show
Manca Baker street !
You have good musicality! but how could you miss out the great sax solo in Baker Street???
you gotta throw shade on a bass solo? really?
