Thank you for your excellent insights. I have been on eBay for over a year and I've had bad experiences with auctions. Your information would have been helpful a year ago! I will be running actions this Thursday thanks to your advice.
This is why I subscribe , straight poop, no BS. I always hated auctions as I got burned a few times. Now I think I will apply some of this info. Thanks . A thumbs up for you
Great advice & great shirt! I have been buying alot of odd stuff at auction and I really wasn't sure what to do with them. This make complete sense. Thank you!
Thank you, Big Dog Craig. This was very helpful. I'll definitely have to try it out with my baseball/trucker caps. I once saw one of Jason's videos, featuring a guy who sold a lot of hats. I'll have to try and find that again and go from there.
WOOF! Love to know how it goes! BTW - Have you ever considered trying Whatnot? We are doing a Trucker Hat show/sale there this week! whatnot.com/invite/2dogsdigs
Thank you. THis is a huge help. I'm doing it backwards lol Buy it now for a high price. If it doesn't go i'll do the auction, but I'll for sure (now) start close to my asking price. Thought starting low was the move, but i guess not. thanks again
Thanks for the video, I sell soldering stations on ebay and I've been letting them go for $450 but someone mentioned I could probably get $600± if I did a 10 day auction. I took them up on it today. I went ahead and made it a 7 day auction though, not sure how much more I would potentially get for the 10 day
The 10 days just works when you start on a Thursday or Friday, allowing for 2 weekends of views to your potential auction (weekends have the most traffic on ebay). Hope it works for you!
This is a really great video! But how come Ebay doesnt allow me to do a starting Bid without having to put in a Buy it now price aswell?I keep seeing other people doing bids without "Buy it now" in their listing.
WOOF! I am not sure, you can try it - just make sure you start your bid at what you would be happy to sell it for. You can also search for "handdrawn art" and see what has sold and also seach by AUCTIONS on its own...just to get ideas if others do it. It will show how many people do auctions vs buy it now.
So how do accept a bid before the end of the auction? Do i just end listing and make sure there is a payment ? Im a first time ebayer, so sorry in advance
Thank you for the awesome advice!! Do you start all your listings on auction and then flip to buy it now if it doesn't sell? Or how do you decide which items to put on auction?
Wow what a great Vid! And which Came with Two great answers I truly needed and have been searching my brain for awhile now. What Was- Thee Best answer to do the.."How Many Days?Auction." It was a question followed by puzzling & Ambiguous Answers; Not to mention- What day was the best day to even start these auctions on? Seriously, I have been racking my brain for the most intelligent answers. So my Thanks goes out to you. And You have now been inducted into the great Hall called the: "One of Many Helpful RUclips Gods" that's you now. (And yes it's a real thing.. I didn't make it up just now lol) Seriously, thanks for sharing, You have saved me a lot of grief, and now I can finally sleep at night😴 lol 👍😉🇨🇦
WOOF Yes! Just add the video to an auction the same way you would to any fixed price. (We have a video on how to do it on our channel). Then if the auction ends with no bids - you can flip it straight to a fixed price with the video preloaded!
I’m just starting on eBay this week. Are newcomers able to do auctions right away? I was thinking about bundling my products to sell faster because I’m over loaded with products all over my place! Anyone do bundling and does it work?
WOOF! Anyone can do an auction, but you need to remember not everything sells on auction (or with regular pricing). Bundling the same type of item could work....but not mixed items. The one bad thing about bundling is the cost of shipping will increase! Make sure you cover yourself there. Good luck with eBay! We love it.
Aside from the great advice your video gets right to the point, so tired of people who offer information that stretch out their videos, example your video could have spent five minutes talking about What is an EBay Auction.. Thank You for not doing this! I took a moment to write this based upon how rare a video like yours is
What do you think about auctions for a sought after item when the same item comes up as well the same week? Should you cancel to a buy it now or cancel and wait for theirs to end?
WOOF! Try to see what you can do to make yours stand out! Better photo, better titles can help yours maybe get that added attention (plus some folks LOVE auctions!) :)
Man I need to make a RUclips channel. I listed 100 auctions just yesterday. I’ve got 5000 listings and around 15000 items for sale and I do it all by myself.
Absolutely! Especially with an item that is hard to find! There's nothing wrong with trying one - just make sure you set the opening bid at something you are HAPPY with...and not overinflated OR undercharge and good luck!
Great information.
I'm going to give the 10 day auction option a try.
Thanks.
Best of luck! Hope it works for you!
nice Tammy Faye record... I knew her my whole life and miss her still regularly.
This was a super-helpful eBay intro for me as a newbee on setting prices and setting up auctions, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
An exceptionally well made video on the topic. Thank you for posting!

Thank you for your excellent insights. I have been on eBay for over a year and I've had bad experiences with auctions. Your information would have been helpful a year ago! I will be running actions this Thursday thanks to your advice.
WOOF! Hope you get what you want for your stuff....and remember, just post it back as a BUY IT NOW if you dont get that bid!
Hey does this apply to electronics I’m selling a Xbox series X that’s like new and i want to make the most money I can for it
This is why I subscribe , straight poop, no BS. I always hated auctions as I got burned a few times. Now I think I will apply some of this info. Thanks . A thumbs up for you
A lot of good quality information. Thanks for making this video!!
WOOF! Good luck with your auctions!

It won't hurt to try this technique with a few of your items. Good luck with it!

Great video...gives me more confidence in the auction process 😁
WOOF! Glad to hear it! Hope you try one...

This is a really great video! But how come Ebay doesnt allow me to do a starting Bid without having to put in a Buy it now price aswell?I keep seeing other people doing bids without "Buy it now" in their listing.
I am not sure why this happens with your account. You never have to have a buy it now - it is an OPTION you can use, but don't have to complete.
@@2DogsDigs Hi..Thanks.i figured it out.I just had to do it in my policies section.
Very helpful advice! I'm going to try and auction a few vinyl dolls and had no idea how to go with the auctions but these tips helped. Thanks!
WOOF! Glad it was helpful! Let us know how they go!
How well do handdrawn art from a new artist...like myself on auctions?
WOOF! I am not sure, you can try it - just make sure you start your bid at what you would be happy to sell it for. You can also search for "handdrawn art" and see what has sold and also seach by AUCTIONS on its own...just to get ideas if others do it. It will show how many people do auctions vs buy it now.
Another excellent video! Keep up
The fantastic content. 😊
Thank you so much 😀
Very good advice, thank you. By the way, when you change your listing from auction to fixed price, do the watchers still attach to the item?
This was so helpful. Thank you so much !!
WOOF! Glad it was helpful! Let us know if you try the tips!
Great Video and Information Thank you
I loved Shrinky dinks
Awesome. Tnx a lot
WOOF! You are most welcome!
So how do accept a bid before the end of the auction? Do i just end listing and make sure there is a payment ? Im a first time ebayer, so sorry in advance
Once you set up your auction to start - anyone who wants to bid can do it as soon as it launches.
New sub, thankyou😃😃
Thank you sir ❤️
WOOF! You are very welcome!
Thank you for the awesome advice!! Do you start all your listings on auction and then flip to buy it now if it doesn't sell? Or how do you decide which items to put on auction?
Thank you
You're welcome
good TIPS and i totally agree
WOOF! Thanks!

WOOF! Now you gotta let me know if you try it! Hope it works well for you (and remember, to keep that opening price at what you want to get!)
Great tips, guys! I never even thought to make adjustments just before the auction ends.
Thanks this really cleared alot of things up for me!
WOOF! Glad it helped!
how do you add a video to auction, is it just a link you add?
WOOF Yes! Just add the video to an auction the same way you would to any fixed price. (We have a video on how to do it on our channel). Then if the auction ends with no bids - you can flip it straight to a fixed price with the video preloaded!
Great. I don't even resell :)
Priceless info! Thank you so much! All 5 notes taken and will sure be putting them in place once I get going on ebay Hopefully soon) :)
how’d it work out
I’m just starting on eBay this week. Are newcomers able to do auctions right away? I was thinking about bundling my products to sell faster because I’m over loaded with products all over my place! Anyone do bundling and does it work?

Do you have a step by step for beginners?
We will actually be doing some seminars/webinars in the new year! Watch out for annoucements on our channel!
Aside from the great advice your video gets right to the point, so tired of people who offer information that stretch out their videos, example your video could have spent five minutes talking about What is an EBay Auction.. Thank You for not doing this! I took a moment to write this based upon how rare a video like yours is
WOOF! I appreciate that! (and we do some hour long ones, but trying to build a lot more short functional ones!)
Do you get some non payers?
WOOF! Thanks for the question. It does happen on occassion, but only about 10% of the time (and that happens with non-auction sales too!)
Sounds like you don't have the time! Its quite time consuming...we would have more listings if we didn't do it...but we like it
@@2DogsDigs Time is the concern of mortal men. I am a caffeine based lifeform that exists outside of time and space.
Can I do an auction from an African country? I'm currently in Nigeria
You would have to look at what country you LIST on. If you listed on ebay.com - then you could.
How do you add videos
We have a video on our channel about exactly how to do that! Just search "videos" on our channel and it should come up. WOOF!
Are auctions successful if you are new and don't have any followers? I've only made 5 sales so far. I also know that my item is hard to find.
Absolutely! Especially with an item that is hard to find! There's nothing wrong with trying one - just make sure you set the opening bid at something you are HAPPY with...and not overinflated OR undercharge and good luck!
its not a matter of parameters anymore but you re just a lucky guy hhhhh
Is it worth doing auction if you're not getting many veiws....
It can be. Certain items can have folks LOOKING just for that! And all an auction needs it TWO people who want something... WOOF!
