Auctions do compliment BINs in terms of sales. ‘Traffic’ being the keyword here, it gets more eyes on your store. I like to run 0.01 rather than 0.99 on a small auction block on cards I have multiple copies or have been listed for awhile so I can maximise traffic. It’s not all about profit, growing your store and feedback are just as important. I appreciate your videos, I watch everyone till the end great entertainment and super helpful! Keep up the good work 😊
“If you start them with auctions, it forces a sale.” Didn’t think of it that way. I’m going to practice this with some items that haven’t moved in a while. Thanks Steve.
Great video! I’ve been trying to get rid of singles and other less desirable cards via auction to hopefully pull people to the page, build up feedback, and recoup some of that money. This video is great!
I took your advice and listed a bunch of my fail grades and junk slabs at a low price. Ended up moving hundreds and made some money back through auctions on product that I otherwise would have just been sitting on.
This was a great video. I have a suggestion. Maybe you could do a video style like this one only with buying collections vs. buying specific singles. I'm curious about the pros and cons of buying a collection compared to focusing on certain cards. Thanks again.
Great vid, Auction def are great to build the brand and gain store followers and promote your store overall. For me personally I just wanted to move large quantities that I had stacked up early on and rare stuff that I can sit on is def BIN. Or auctions if I have 10+ of the same card works well to gage the current market value +/- a few dollars here and there depending on how well the auction does that week overall
I feel like something that's not really talked about much is the difference between buy it now and auction promoting. I don't believe you can promote for a percentage with auction listings and instead it's a flat rate So promoting might not be worth it for cheaper items up for auction
That is true! I cannot promote listings on ebay australia auctions, so i am unaware of how to use them, but for bigger auctions in america it makes more sense.
Nice vid, any chance you would do a vid on selling with pwcc? I have a japanese psa 10 gold star rayquaza (non 1st ed) that im trying to move, but im trying to get the most out of it.
I could do, but I think since PWCC is an auction marketplace you could probably just use the auction vs buy it now knowledge in the video. If you want the highest price I would list it buy it now on ebay.
I say auction if u don’t really wanna sell it in a hurry and u have a specific price in mind for example I have a basketball card for 10k but it now. I’d take 7 but I’m not gonna run an auction on it eventually someone will buy it it’s extremely rare and wouldn’t be a card ppl would pull just look up so I feel it’s risky to auction
I need to know how much ebay now charge as i sell dolls & knittec outfits And normally use the £1 offers which dont come that often. Can you advise me on cost Suzie' in uk
It will be okay, I don't really know, I barely look at it until they tell me my grades are finished. They will be safe. Being delivered is a good thing =)
If I create an auction with buy it now $200 and als auction with starting bid 100 without a reserved price what will happen after 7 days if the highest bid will be $120? I have to sell it for 120? or I don't have to sell it because my buy now price was $200??

Or even a video about the pros abd cons of getting a business licence for ebay selling as a side gig.

Great advice !
Starts auction for MP base set charizard at $1,000, keeps renewing when it doesn’t sell 😂
😂
do you ship insured and if so what service? how many of your shipments get lost and do you then just refund?
*touch wood* I haven't had a shipment lost in my last 4000 or so. I don't pay for insurance on shipping.
@@PokemonSteven okay, so if a package did get lost, you would just reimburse the buyer and take the loss i guess
@@madlad847 There are ebay policies on this, but if there is no delivery scan then yes, you have to refund the buyer.
@@PokemonSteven I see, so the volume and 99+% delivery rate allows some losses and insurance makes no sense moneywise, thx!
Hello again my friend
Hello
HOW DOES BUY IT NOW WORK? HOW LONG DOES IT LAST, etc?
You can select good til cancelled in your ebay settings and they'll last forever
I need to know how much ebay now charge as i sell dolls & knittec outfits
And normally use the £1 offers which dont come that often. Can you advise me on cost Suzie' in uk
every region and every item has a different category, i suggest looking at ebays fee guide for ebay UK
How many days does it take psa to send notice received after Australia post sends text of delivery on Saturday. Lol im nervous.
