Vasiline is not meant to hydrate your skin but instead work as a trap.
What you’d want to do is do your routine like normal and then apply vasiline on top to trap in that moisture and keep your skin hydrated, same goes for your body, apply lotion then this.
But if you apply vasiline without any base then you’ll basically trap your dry skin and gain nothing.
I recommend only doing the trap method if you suffer from dry skin such as face, body and lips too.
agree with this! I use vaseline as a "shield" and apply it on both sides of my thighs to prevent friction against each other under hot weather. it's definitely not a moisturiser.
I just watched a video where Dr Yuon said you should never ever put Vaseline on your skin .. ever

totally agree with toleraine ultra moisturiser! ❤️ i have really sensitive skin that breaks out into rashes when i use usual moisturisers like laneige water bank, and this is the only moisturiser that my skin accepts wholly! i've used 10 bottles (1 every month because it's really quite small and fast to finish if you use it day and night daily) and it's still so good 🥳🥳🥳
i'd recommend the toleraine ultra light for those who want to try something easy for the skin as a start too!
