Hello, Ms. Karen. I am new to skin care and I just purchased this box recently. I've tried using it while follwing your instructions. Everything was ok except the COSRX Ampoule and the Lotus water cream. After using those two products, my skin was stinning very bad. I am new to skin care and I am not sure if I should be keep using them. Please give me any information about this. Thank you!
@@brandon-jq7by My advice would be to make brakes between trying new stuff. Don't try all at once, that's how you're going to see what actually works for you and what irritates you. Maybe something in one product is conflicting with another and your skin can't handle it right now because you're still new with trying out products. Use one product that works best for you currently, for a week, consistantly, and then add another one. Doesn't mean that everything is going to work, i ordered a couple of skincare boxes so far and it never happened to me that every product worked beautifully. Good luck! :)
Good advice I got was to wash my hands before my cleanser, and then rub my cleanser in my hands for 30 seconds to activate the ingredients. I then wash my face for 1 minute, and I don’t Pat dry, instead I just let my face with dripping water. I know it sounds a little messy (kind of is) and then I let it air dry a bit, until it’s not dripping, and even if my face is still wet I put on my face cream. It has honestly changed the game for me personally.
Yes, i can attest to this! Complete game changer, especially washing your hands good before doing anything. I use gel as a cleanser and when i don't wash my hands that good, the foam won't form at all and it kind of dissapears because the hands treat it as a soap that would wash your hands, not face. I personally use cleanser for showering (la roche posay, that has ph balance for skin) and it really works good when you are on a budget if you use it like it was said- for face and body. Good luck people!

Korean skincare has helped my skin so much. My skin is still far from perfect, but the difference between my skin before and after is like night and day. It's the only thing I've ever tried besides medication that actually helps my cystic acne.
Use African black soap, a good chemical exfoliant, niacinimide and vitamin e with a good hydrating essence and moisturizer:) there’s loads more remedies for hyperpigmentation but this is one that worked so good for me
@Yusef Almardeai it really hasn’t helped with my acne and i definitely don’t have perfect glass skin but in terms of hydration, it makes my skin feel super soft and supple

very very late, but just gotta say: these recs are a godsend! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin (have had acne almost my entire life) and started using tretinoin about a year ago. One of the side effects is dry skin, especially now that it's winter. I'd been looking for ways to build my moisture barrier back up, and what should pop up but this video from a year ago. Ever since I started using the products Karen recommended here, I can see an immediate change in my skin. No more tightness around the mouth, nose, and forehead; bouncier skin and I've woken up legit looking glowy. If you're skeptical, I'd say to definitely give this a try! *Just make sure you patch test on your inner arm first to make sure you're not allergic to any of the products* Good luck!
Hey guys if you can't afford the more expensive skincare the Dollar Tree has some K-Beauty essentials if you can't afford the expensive ones. They have jade rollers,ice rollers,AMAZING sheet masks, pretty good toners and Great serums but the serums are by Global Beauty Care. Also the brand for sheet masks I appreciate there are the Fresh Food for Skin masks and the Freeman gel masks. If you can't afford a whole bunch of sheet masks,get the Freeman masks. But this is my opinion and I have great results with them. Also get the EYEBROW RAZORS FOR DERMAPLANING!!!! I also have expensive skincare devices but the routine is the most important thing. Consistency is key and a good affordable routine is better than an expensive routine you only do once a month. And make sure you get some Vaseline for your sleep mask.

I’m not sure but I think retinol isn’t supposed to be used during pregnancy. I don’t think retinol is included in this box but it’s a popular ingredient so just a heads up 🤍

Let's be honest, we all don't have the money for this, great skincare routine. Luckily that doesn't mean we can't try something similar. All you need is products with the same ingredients and no fragrance. The ordinary is amazing and I also recommend simple as well. I had to come back and say that I got the box and Karen you are right this cleanser is Amazing! I normally use an oil cleanser as my first cleanse but decided to try your method and double cleanse with this cleanser …. Well I was shocked that it took off all my makeup! Honestly I do not use any waterproof makeup but this is the first cleanser that actually took everything off with the first cleanse (no oil or balm) I’m shook!

Would this work on people who aren’t Korean? I’m white so I was wondering if this is the right routine for my skin. Also my skin is both oily and dry so it’s really difficult for me to find what works best. Any tips would be great :)
Yes it will work if you're white. For black people like me, it's a little different, but it will definitely work on you if you have the right skin type for it...I also have oily and dry skin . Its hard for us haha
Genes are not the issue, just the products don’t work in most cases. I’m white living in SK and korean dermatologist recommended to me to only use products from pharmacies available everywhere in the world. no celebrity/influencer actually use drugstore skincare. They all get special treatments and medicines. Even in this video woman is trying to sell a skin care box, it’s not sincere video, she is just advertising.

Hii Karen, this is the first video of yours I'm watching ! I've been thinking about starting a skincare routine but I literally don't know anything about skincare. Other RUclipsrs were like "you need to apply that and that and also that" but I don't even know what's a toner nor where to get it so when you said you made a box with the products we would need already selected I didn't think twice and bought your box (I added the fullfit honey glow kit) ! It’s a super gentle routine so you can do it morning and night everyday! I just recommend using a sunscreen after everything during the day. You need sun protection!

I use a face cleaner oil and mix it with a brazen cleaner it’s like little grains of sand and after I use a good moisture cream and then finish it with a light face oil and I find my skin is great and only a couple of times a week I use a serum
My skin would break out immediatly if i used that many products. Even direktly after a sheet mask if i don`t take the access product off after. My Skin would get red, it would feel hot on my face and pimples start to show after an hour... But i found my own routine that helped me with redness and pimples :) I use AHA - PHA peeling in the shower, after that i put niacinamide serum on my face combined with pure aloevera gel. After that a Ceramide cream and thats it.

Yes you would just like she does in the video. Can do morning and night just no need to double cleanse in the am and add a spf in the am . Also sheet mask not necessary for both am and pm routine but you can if you want to be extra 😄

sheet masks are so overpriced anyway bc its literally just piece of cloth and then a lot of serum. idk if you could just drench your face in a serum and it would then have the same effect?

Wanted to give an update on the products! I love it so far and have noticed results within a few days. I do breakout often and have a lot of baby acne in which were reduced down a lot. My skin has become more clear and glowy. I do recommend using face sheet masks for better results for your skin. The only extra thing I added onto the routine is a face sunscreen cream to help protect my skin from the sun. I definitely would recommend purchasing this set of box and hope you guys liked it as much as I do too. Besides that, the price is such a good deal!! Thanks Karen for the amazing set! 💜

Yes it does help with acne but idk if your your supposed to do it everyday, but people say to do your skin care everyday so I would do it everyday but if your skin is getting damaged when you do it everyday, I would do the skin care every other day, it basically depends on your skin.

toner helps balance the ph levels. it also helps prevent tewl (water loss) its good to remove excess makeup aswell.

Would this work on people who aren’t Korean? I’m white so I was wondering if this is the right routine for my skin. Also my skin is both oily and dry so it’s really difficult for me to find what works best. Any tips would be great :)
Yes it will work if you're white.
For black people like me, it's a little different, but it will definitely work on you if you have the right skin type for it...I also have oily and dry skin . Its hard for us haha
Genes are not the issue, just the products don’t work in most cases. I’m white living in SK and korean dermatologist recommended to me to only use products from pharmacies available everywhere in the world. no celebrity/influencer actually use drugstore skincare. They all get special treatments and medicines. Even in this video woman is trying to sell a skin care box, it’s not sincere video, she is just advertising.
You would need to look for products that target your skins problems

Hii Karen, this is the first video of yours I'm watching ! I've been thinking about starting a skincare routine but I literally don't know anything about skincare. Other RUclipsrs were like "you need to apply that and that and also that" but I don't even know what's a toner nor where to get it so when you said you made a box with the products we would need already selected I didn't think twice and bought your box (I added the fullfit honey glow kit) ! The most I've done in the past is soap and cica cream so I'm fully trusting you 100% on that rn ahaha you have the future of my skin between your hands ^^ also, this might sound dumb but keep in mind I'm a real beginner, the whole routine you showed do we need to do it in the morning, evening or both ? And everyday or twice a week something like that ? Thank you in advance for whoever will reply :) waiting for my box impatiently
It’s a super gentle routine so you can do it morning and night everyday! I just recommend using a sunscreen after everything during the day. You need sun protection!

i LOVE COSRX and AROMATICA, both cruelty free!!!! ❤️ my favourite from Aromatica is the cleansing orange sorbet which is part of the famous korean double cleaning is like a oil to clean deeply the pores and skin, i love it!!!! and cosrx all rge snail bee products are amazing, you skipped the double cleanser with the oil girl!!!
I use a face cleaner oil and mix it with a brazen cleaner it’s like little grains of sand and after I use a good moisture cream and then finish it with a light face oil and I find my skin is great and only a couple of times a week I use a serum

My skin would break out immediatly if i used that many products. Even direktly after a sheet mask if i don`t take the access product off after. My Skin would get red, it would feel hot on my face and pimples start to show after an hour... But i found my own routine that helped me with redness and pimples :) I use AHA - PHA peeling in the shower, after that i put niacinamide serum on my face combined with pure aloevera gel. After that a Ceramide cream and thats it.

Yes you would just like she does in the video. Can do morning and night just no need to double cleanse in the am and add a spf in the am . Also sheet mask not necessary for both am and pm routine but you can if you want to be extra 😄

the sheet does nothing, its the serum that people buy it for
sheet masks are so overpriced anyway bc its literally just piece of cloth and then a lot of serum. idk if you could just drench your face in a serum and it would then have the same effect?
there are reusable masks that you can use with your serum or moisturizer instead. i’ve seen some made from cloth and another one with silicon.

Wanted to give an update on the products! I love it so far and have noticed results within a few days. I do breakout often and have a lot of baby acne in which were reduced down a lot. My skin has become more clear and glowy. I do recommend using face sheet masks for better results for your skin. The only extra thing I added onto the routine is a face sunscreen cream to help protect my skin from the sun. I definitely would recommend purchasing this set of box and hope you guys liked it as much as I do too. Besides that, the price is such a good deal!! Thanks Karen for the amazing set! 💜

Yes it does help with acne but idk if your your supposed to do it everyday, but people say to do your skin care everyday so I would do it everyday but if your skin is getting damaged when you do it everyday, I would do the skin care every other day, it basically depends on your skin.
