1. Double cleansing
2. Toner
3. Skin medication- BHA, retinol, salicylic
Wait for 15mins for the next step
4. Apply serums - Hyaluronic acid, vitamin C
5. Moisturizer
6. Sunscreen if day time
You have to wait?? I never knew that
thanks for the summary....and skin oil at night :)
she's wrong tho. Vitamin c works best on dry skin so you're supposed to put the toner after it.. then put the hyaluronic acid. It should be Vitamin c > toner > hyaluronic acid
@@thelonercoder5816Wrong!!!! Allow the toner to dry and then apply the vitamin C serum genius
I exfoliate my skin in my night routine
Double cleansing, toner, retinol at night( day skin care AHA/ BHA/salylic acid2/3 times a week), sheet mask ( at night) serums (Hyurolic acid, / vit c , moisturizer, skin oil ( night), sunscreen. Ok. Thanks, you're gorgeous
So if i got it right, night: double cleansing, toner, retinol, sheetmask and serums.
Day: BHA..., and sunscreen
So you only do the night ones at night and never in the morning? And do you do the BHA right arter you wake up, like its the first step?
Sorry for many questions, but im desperate😭
@@ellabirkeland7582 no it goes like this, morning : double cleaning, toner, aha serum, moisturizer, sunscreen
Night : double cleaning, toner, retinol, sheet mask, serum, moisturizer, skin oil
@@katylove5004oki doki. Thank you so much🥰
Wowww double cleanse morning and double cleanse night. I personally think that’s too much for skin which is unnecessary. But if u wear makeup everyday all day and r out all day sweating etc then yeah might need it. Otherwise if u don’t really wear makeup and r indoor a lot then I don’t think u need it.
@@mariamhussain5554 I understand, for my skincare I wash my face in the morning with water then I go ahead with toner but at night it's when I double cleanse
You literally helped saved my skin. Thank you for the depth explanation on how to layer products for glass skin. 😊
You are so thorough and explain everything so well! I didn't know some of these things and I was winging it with my products. Thanks for this!
This is by far the best skincare explanation video I've seen. You broke it down so easily and made it so comprehensible! I've always done skincare but never really knew for a fact what each product was used for or even when to use it and you made that so clear in this video. Thank you for this!!!
Funny thing is this is my exact routine.
And it works.. I really like this routine. Will definitely recommend doing this.
After toners it seems like you are wiping away the toner or essence you just applied?” With the pha/bha etc?
This is my first time watching and fell in love with how you explained all steps! This is exactly what i needed, thank you so much for all the tips, your skin looks amazing! I will definitely apply your recommendations and have subscribed❤😊
I have always cleansed and moisturized but just started getting into skin meds and serums. They have made such a huge difference in texture and I no longer have blackheads. My pores are smaller as well. I was absolutely lost at which order to use them all though. You made it so easy for me now. Thank you!
What did u use to get rid of blackheads?
@@Preciousmae22double cleanse with cleansing oils
love your skincare videos!! your skin looks beautiful and glowy!! goals
I needed this video so bad, really useful. Thanks Karen💫
Just be careful, normally use Vitamin C in the morning, because you cannot mix with retinol. And do not use retinol every day from day 1, you have to use to it :) I don't use toner but i use exfoliant after double cleansing, I think it is an unnecessary step.
This video inspired me to start CORRECTLY doing skincare. Thank you thank you thank you.
That ampoule really elevated the glow sky high
The consistency method works well for beginners but if you want to get the most out of your actives use what you want to work the most first and work from there. I apply retinol and vitamin C on clean/dry face and then I’ll go in with my Ha and moisturizers. If your sensitive skinned, you would want to use the sandwich method or cycle your actives.
Thinnest to thickest. Easy to remember. Thank you!
Thank you. Such a clear and concise video to explain skincare routines!
thanks so much for this video! do you also have a morning skincare routine? im always curious about how different ppl’s routines are in the morning versus at night
#WhiteOnCream has redefined my skincare standards, setting the bar high with its unparalleled ability to deliver a luminous Korean glass white glow that leaves me in awe! 📏✨
thank you so much growing up my mom never taught me to care for myself so when i was 12-14 i learned how to take care of my hygiene by myself the only thing i never could understand was skincare and im just now figuring it out at 20 years old. thank you for making a video on this and providing recommendations this really was helpful and in depth. My mom never really bothered to look out for me so this means a lot.
Hi thank you for your videos! It really helped me to start my skin care routine! Please keep it up! ❤
you're such a lifesaver!!!
Thanks for this video! This came at a perfect time😊😊
Hi Karen. What a wonderful video and plenty of great advice. Extremely good tips. I am so glad I quite accidentally landed on your page here. Now I can go through all your videos and learn more. I have been taking good care of my rather dry skin for many years ever since I was 17 years old. My mother also cared for her beautiful looks and managed to look more or less 30 yrs younger when she died at the age of 61. People used to think we were sisters.
Being Scandinavian I have the typical very fair complexion that tends to be dry and also burns immediately if I stay in the sun. Thus sun protection is paramount. - Regards from northern Europe.
Thank you because you don't just spout advice you actually show us how to do it on your beautiful face, others I have watched just glaze over the information and don't actually show you themselves doing it, they quite often just rub It on the back of their hands which to me is pointless and confusing. Thank once again.🤗
wow. thank you so much for the video. you have no idea how useful this is.
This was absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing your skincare IP. And you have gorgeous skin and you are gorgeous too ! ;)
When you said "what is a toner?".. i couldn't help but remember PHOEBE BUFFEY from FRIENDS 😂
First time viewer here. Thank you for this video. I am super new to skincare (I know! pretty bad for a 29 yr old lol), and you made it so much clearer (no pun intended). Last night I tried your routine, and I did not notice a small but nice change in my skin just from doing your steps. Once I get through my stash, I'll be checking out the items you featured. Thank you for the great video!
You’re welcome! Thanks for subbing!
Omg i feel you! I am 29 too and i am just getting into it XD
Loved the video, I was looking exactly this type of content!
Honestly you like gorgeous with or without makeup, so jealous ❤
I use the Soon Jung toner and I love it! Need to reorder soon.
I LOOOOOVEEEE your skincare videos soo much !! sponsored or not, i always look forward for these videos
you look so glowing!💐💐
Karen ive been watching you for years and now i can finally get into skin care seriously thanks to you ! i love how you explain everything so carefully and how specific you are ! i love you so much !! 🩷
Aww thank you!!

Thank you for this amazing night routine🌷🌼🌷
Thank you for this video it was very easy to understand and follow and very informative…it helps alot as a skin care beginner
How long do you wait around before moving on to the next step?
Your videos are very informative and I'm learning so much from you!
Oh thank you for breaking the steps down. For the most part I got it right but I “wasn’t sure”. This video really helped me out a lot. I literally took out my “skincare journal”.
Btw - (you already know this) but you have BEAUTIFUL SKIN!!!
Hi I had been in California for almost 10 years and didn’t take care of my skin at all. It looks obvious that my face looks more old than that of a woman in her mid forties. Now I’m back in London and not sure what to use for my skin care routine. I have sensitive combination skin (oily/dry). Honestly I prefer not to use high end products and just go for drugstore brands that are of similar quality to those of high end brands. I just need something that is healthy and good for my skin day and night. Watching your videos gives me hope that my skin will restore its natural beauty again and that it’s never too late to start taking care of your skin and yourself again so thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and advice on skin care and how to get a good habit of a good skin care routine💖🤗
very clear explanation, thank youuuuu
Wow . I love your skin. Watching from Japan❤
I was looking for this information. thank you.
I’ve already watched this video 4 times…. always come back 😅❤
I am a new viewer happened to stumble in your channel, this is what I needed steps for skin care what to apply.
I love it,thank you♥️♥️
What moisturizer did you use in this video!? I’m buying everything :)
Greattt tips!! Thanks you!!!!❤❤❤
Thank you Gurl!!!!💕✨🥰
THE BEST SKIN PRODUCT I FIND IS ELEMIS ❤
Great video . Realised I was doing toner or essence after my treatments so I will try them the other way round. Thank you
You're amazing💗 thank you
Ssooooo pretty legit have the most beautiful hands I've ever seen 😍.
I’ve been looking for a video like this ! Thank you so much!! the step where you do sheet mask? Would you also recommend doing regular clay face mask, etc at this time ?
I’ve lived in Japan for years (still here 😅). This video was really useful, thank you
Learning salicylic acid can be layered with vitamin C or retinol, is a new to me. Thanks!!
So practical thank you sm!!💕🤗
Gratitude 🙏🏽
thankie so much for the tips😊
Thank you so much for this video! It was super helpful and I even picked a few products shown in this video! This is the video to watch if you are starting out in skincare! Much love keep making amazing informative videos!!! ❤❤❤
So fresh!
What was the moisturizer you used? Love its consistency!
Really helpful - thank you! :)
Great video skincare , 🎉 ❤ xx
Thank you very well explained.
I have a problem with my blackheads. I’ve had them for like idek how long. I use to use strips but it just damaged the skin barrier. I’m gonna try the BHA medication and see how that goes👍🏻
Would it be possible to do a video dedicated to Lipcare?
I keep struggling with dry patches on my lips and can't get rid of them.
Yours always look so amazing!
use vaseline/acuaphor/cerave healing ointment. I had the same problem for such a long time and I kept on trying different lip balms that only worked for a few hours and sometimes even made my lips even more dry! When I tried vaseline it worked so well and got rid of my chapped lips
I honestly recommend exfoliating them with your toothbrush after brushing your teeth. 2-3x a week and apply lip balm. I apply vitamin e oil 😅
i'd love to see a tutorial on the makeup look in this video
Love your video ❤️
I really don't get the glass skin trend. It just looks greasy to me🥺
I'm happy I found you ♡♡♡
Hi Karen! Your video is so helpful. I am planning to start the 6 step skin care routine.
I would like to ask what moisturizer did you used in this video, you did not mention.
Thank you.
Wow thank you so much! I order all those things!!! Do this day and night? 🙈 Or is this a night routine?☺️
I've already been double cleansing for years, before it was so popular
I also recommend the new face oil from Olivier Midy, this oil is multiple skincare concerns and is 100% plant based.
Hi dear
Ur skin ls like glass
😘😘😘😘
Just i can dream of this type skin
ur skin perfect
Hi! I’m new to skincare (besides washing my face, moisturizing and sunscreening). I just returned from Korea with a bunch of skin care products so your video was extremely helpful!
At which step do you use anti-aging/wrinkle products and brighteners/brightening masks?
As a senior, I would like to know that too. Along with age spot cream
Hello Ms. Karen. I would just like to ask the estimated interval time of applying each skin care products according to this video. Thank you 🥰
I learnt so much thank you
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much for this in-depth video!! this said i have a few questions which i hope you can help me with:
1. i read online that Retinols shouldn't be used every night, nor should they be paired with vitamin c serums?
2. this is quite a long routine to have, what routine should i follow in the morning if i don't have much time?
3. do i have to double cleanse AM and PM? or can it be done only in the evening? and if yes, how do i cleanse in the morning? thank you so much xx
What is the moisturizer you used? Please I need to know this has helped me so much I'm super new to skincare. ❤
Wow you describe very well
If using BHA followed by Niacinimide skin medication... do you wait 15 mins in between both? Or do you wait 15 minutes after layering all of your skin medications?
How would you layer essence?
Hi! Thank you for this great video! Which moisturiser is your favourite for combination skin? Thanks :)
Merci pour ta vidéo
What brand is your vitamin C and is it suitable for sensitive skin? I like the consistency. Thanks
GOD loves you all.🙏🏽🫀 I love you all and I am praying for you all.🙏🏽🫀
Hello! So after all these, then you can start with you make-up routine in the morning like your liquid foundation?
I have a question. Thank you so much for sharing. Can I ask all the skin care routine in the morning after this can I still put foundation on top and go?
For the longest time i never thought that i will fall in love with double cleansng
i do evrithing to help my teksture skin from korean serum to high end serum the efectiveness never last long
So i try double cleanse after two times double cleanse omg my skin supple as hell😂 never stop after that
lightest to thickest, water based to oil based.
Hello, love the video but what moisturizer did you utilized?
For the Numbuzin #3 essence/toner, is it good using it before using BHA? I just want to make sure it’s safe.
So! I made it through the video, literally writing the steps down cause well I have a crowded brain 😂. But, I started purchasing skin care prods and hopefully by the end of the month I’ll be done. I really want to get into feeding my skin with love and just really investing in me.
Now I would also appreciate a video on body care. Like what to use on my body and what not to. Some parts of my body like my thighs down to my toes get really dry during the summer and I honestly dunno where to start from or what to do. 😂
I had a few steps confused. I just want to recap, you can use BHA and retinols on the same day? Thank you for this advice. I had been using serum then retinol. Hoping to see improvement after 3 months.
What moisturiser do you use on this video?
If only I had the energy to do this every evening and morning
can u make video about melasma routine, plz
❤❤❤❤❤ thanks honey!
Omg yaass thenkkuuu
QUESTION: what if your retinol is more of a cream consistency? Would u need to put it on after the serums? Thank you for the great video 🥰
