Hi CC. The old £1 bank note bearing the name J B Page, was issued between 1978 & 1981. The difference in colour on the emblem on the reverse indicates that the darker one is J B Page and the lighter one is D H F Somerset (1981-1984).
still getting find from your car boot sales here in Nova Scotia we dont have fleamarkets or yard sales in the winter time no place for them indoors here not big enough
i know! there are a couple vans that are regular sellers and they sell straight from house clearances - the plus side is they sell really cheap if you dare to touch the items 🤢

We don't see a lot of English Notes over here.
You would have thought some sellers would clean up their items before offering them for sale. There were quite a lot of dirty ones.
